If I could give zero stars I would. I enjoy the food very much and come quite often but I will no longer be a customer. When I placed an order through the drive thru, I was asked what kind of soda I wanted with my meal, she lied and said she asked what kind of meat I wanted. Fast forward, I’m charged $3 for a soda i didn’t want or ask for and $1.22 in a surcharge, which is fine but that should be posted somewhere. I was on my lunch break and had to ask for a receipt on my way out because I placed an order with my coworkers for us to split and that’s when I realized. I immediately called them and they were arguing with me saying that’s not what the said, I asked for a manager and when she went to get one I could hear her talking about me in Spanish. She then apologized on the employees behalf and said she would make sure they advise of the drink not being included and the surcharge. She said to come back tomorrow to get a refund for the inconvenience. I went there after work for the refund they said they were gonna give me and she said there was nothing she could do after she spoke with the boss and just gave me $2.75 for the soda. They lied and said they were going to do something and didn’t. I was a loyal customer and will never come here again, if they were a big corporation the would be sued for making promises they didn’t keep. Completely horrible experience.

Pick up of food order to go (2 shredded beef enchiladas with rice&beans)enchilada sauce lack flavor, 2 Tripas tacos and 2 Lenguas tacos(the meat was tough,fried&hard to chew.) I hope it get much better on my next purchase in the future because I’m fond of Authentic Mexican food and quality/seasoning is important to me. Don’t put too much salt though because it ruins it thus I’m unable to consume the meal. You should provide free sides (little portions) of salads (veggies,salsa,sauces&utensils including napkins since it gets messy). The prices are too high for what I ordered. Next time, I hope it’s more sensible/practical when you charge as opposed to overcharging. It’s not gourmet cuisine&fine dining you know. I’ve driven by here a bunch of times and I saw their $1.50 ground beef tacos figured I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. They were definitely the best tacos I’ve had at a fast food place in a long, long time. The fresh deep fried shells with the ground beef in them plenty of lettuce and cheese, and the hot taco sauce was great. Will definitely be back for more good value way better than Taco Bell or Del taco was really yummy.

Gerardo’s taco shop, located in the LVAC center has a good location only if you need some tacos after the gym. The carnitas and asada tacos were just ok—not bad, but not particularly memorable. At $2.99 each, the prices are at the top end of what’s reasonable for a street taco in my opinion.
While there may be some highlights, if I return I would try something else.

No wait in line on Saturday morning around 10am. Breakfast burrito with ham a little bland but I chose healthy so I expected that. Thats why I ask for extra salsa habanero (not that spicy). Side of beans is spot on, creamy texture and tasty. Service was great! Friendly, happy, both cook and cashier. Thats a plus! Would recommend!

Went to Gerardo’s for the first time on 4/20 and placed a take out order. Ordered 3 ground beef tacos, 1 chicken taco, 1 cabeza taco, a mulita, flan and a churro.
The tacos were on special for $1.49 and had great flavor. My only complaint is the hard shell tacos barely had any cheese.
My husband loved the carne asada mulita and the caramel stuffed churro. Said they were the best churtos! I got the flan and was disappointed. Not very creamy and barely any sauce. The plastic container said 4-12-24 so not sure if the flan was old or not?
We will definitely go back to try other menu items. Service was great and friendly. Recommended.

I saw a drive through for tacos so I had to go ♀️. We tried soft and a hard shell chicken tacos. We enjoyed them. The wait was about 5 minutes or so and the food came out hot. The tacos came with beans and chips. I was surprised the chicken was different for the soft taco and the hard taco which was disappointing. The chicken for the hard shell was shredded white meat and was very dry and flavorless. But I liked that the shell appeared to be a fresh tortilla that was just fried. The beans were simple but good! The chicken in the soft shell was well seasoned.

Was visiting the area and felt like having Mexican food. Looked online at a bunch of different places and every dish at these places were about $15 minimum! A small bag of chips at one place was like $5.50. Ridiculous. I saw Gerardo’s and the prices looked amazing and I was hoping the food would still taste great. I saw the enchilada combo didn’t have pastor or cheese as options online, but when I called to place the order, the man on the phone didn’t say no when I asked for those two fillings. Everything tasted amazing. Horchata was so good and refreshing. The green salsa packs a bit of a punch. And I’m sure the amount of chips we got in the container was much bigger than the “small bag” at the other place, and at half the cost! With 2 Combo plates, a big container of chips and salsa, and a large Horchata, it came out to about $21 which is pretty good in my opinion. I definitely recommend this place!

Went to this taco place 10 minutes ago because of the supposedly “good reviews” and was totally fooled, tacos are not good, I ordered a mulita and this is what I got, pricing is a bit high than other places and for the taste TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT, plus customer service sucks, the drive thru lady super rude and when asked about and added item we requested came to our surprise that once we got home the added item was not there. Don’t come here it’s not that good.
