At Georgio’s Pizza & Pasta, everything starts with the dough. We’re a family-owned pizzeria in Downtown Rochester focused on artisan New York–style pizza, clean ingredients, and consistency. I’m George, owner of Georgio’s, and my goal is simple: serve food I’m proud to feed my own family. Our pizza dough is made in-house daily using a long fermentation process that creates a crisp, airy crust with deep flavor. We don’t use bromated or bleached flour—only high-quality ingredients and tomatoes. While our pasta is not made in-house, our sauces are, prepared fresh and cooked with care. I like Georgios’s. I’ve been many times to get a slice of pizza. But today I changed it up and ordered a calzone for the first time. I’m so upset. I built my own calzone with pepperoni, ham, spinach and feta. Each topping was a little over $2. In the end, I spent $25 on a calzone full of ricotta. The toppings were all near the crust/edge rather than throughout, and there weren’t enough to feed a toddler. The bites that had toppings were great, but if you’re going to sell a pocket of its size with toppings at those prices, fill it up. It’s a shame. If I didn’t live 30 minutes away, I would have been back in a heartbeat.

Wow! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! The flavors were great, the topping choices were ridiculous, the desserts were fresh… the list goes on! Good service even though it was only one girl who ran the register and waited tables! Forgive them for the spelling of Giorgio. Every single thing pictured was absolutely wonderful! They exchanged the pepperoni on the fries pizza for sausage and i was so happy about it! Wow! Just wow! 10/10 and 5/5! So blessed to have found this place!❤️❤️❤️

All around delicious food and excellent service! First time visiting and will not be the last. I had the garlic knots, fried ravioli, jumbo wings and tiramisu. The marinara sauce was smoking hot delicious and everything was made to order. I couldn’t finish the wings, they were in fact jumbo! Next time I’ll order by pizza by the slice.

It was my first time here and hands down I love this place. Went on a weekend for lunch and was surprised it wasn’t that crowded. I came here for pizza and ended up having Gnocchi and loved it. Veggie pizza and Garlic knots were good too. I felt that the food in general was fresh. Special mention about the Tiramisù- I love Tiramisù and was craving for an authentic one and it is spot on here. In fact it is one of the best I have had so far. I’m definitely coming back for Tiramisù. The lady who serve us was very hospitable and friendly. Overall highly recommend this place.

First time coming here very impressed! The canzone was to die for. So cheesy and melted the pull away was just incredible! It all came together pretty good with evwry bite. Will definitely be coming back when ever in Town.

Unfortunately, their calzones are definitely not worth the price. The ricotta is jarring and the taste overall is extremely bland. The toppings are poorly distributed and the entire thing is a letdown. Their tiramisu is unfortunately definitely not worth the $8 I paid. It’s too bad because I think their style of pizza is pretty cool.

The food here is beyond AMAZING. The garlic knots are the best part I definitely recommend. Staff is also friendly as well. I cannot believe how cheap the lunch special is for such huge slices of pizza. Will definitely be back!

We waited 30 minutes and they gave us the wrong pizza. Staff was giving other tables who had gotten there after us their food first, which didn’t seem right. The pizza they brought us was Italian sausage and we do not eat pork. They returned it to their kitchen and then took another 30 minutes to bring out the correct pizza. Server seemed like she was trying her best but wasn’t friendly and didn’t really try to rectify the situation. They also gave us the wrong receipt at the end of the night and I had to ask for the right one. I called back after we left and was told I should have complained before I left the restaurant. They were very busy, and quite frankly, I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything because it wasn’t a welcoming environment. Staff seems clueless.
