What entrance could be better when you walk towards a restaurant and there are two big doors. Then you open the door and smell the deliciousness of deep dish pizza. Service was very good today. I saw all employees working very hard. But one waitress that stood out that was very dedicated and passionate with the people she was serving, Jess A. She happened to be my waitress today and I was glad she was. Ya know, it’s tough to pick between the Mac & Cheese and the Broccoli Chicken Bowtie pasta. Thankfully I asked if she had a personal preference and she responded saying that the Broccoli Chicken Bowtie pasta was her favorite! She even explained why ! When I got it, I think that might have been the best broccoli I have ever had. Wow. Now to end this review, I must say that if you go to Georgio’s, you have to get the dough nuggets. They’re too good to pass up on.

We recently went here to celebrate my brother’s 30th birthday. Let me start off by saying our server was fantastic. They even have our younger kids each a dough ball to help keep them busy while waiting for the food. The service was top notch. Gentlemen with tattoos was super friendly and very attentive to ensuring everyone was satisfied whether it was empty plates being cleared or any additional condiments needed. Now let’s get to the food. Pasta was fantastic and fresh. Dessert was out of this world, the drinks as well. Keep up the great work all! Please let the team know, you guys are doing it right!

Gave two stars because quality has gone down. Georgio’s has been our pasta/pizza spot for years but recently we’ve been disappointed with the food, across multiple dishes. Started a month ago with under cooked calzones. Next time I ordered the antipasto salad that had one or two pieces of cut-up salami/pepperoni (usually has way more). It essentially was all cheese pieces and lettuce. Today we ordered the mama primevera pizza and it was bland and undercooked. We also ordered mozzarella sticks and they were undercooked as well. Usually the cheese oozes out from the side when they are cooked thoroughly and these were intact. Cheese was hard in the middle. This has been a pattern and unfortunately will not be back which truly saddens me as we’ve also had several birthday parties there. What is going on Georgios? Why have things changes?

2nd Visit, Danny the manager is awesome!! He invited us back so he can listen to our concerns in person. Normally a manager would give us free food and walk away. Instead he took the time to listen to our concerns and made us feel very welcomed! You can tell that he took my first review very seriously. For a loyal customer this type of service is expected but he made it feel welcoming and not a burden. My family and I will be back for sure!!! Old Review – I would drive out of my way to come to this location considering that the crystal lake location is closer for quality. Lately this place has taken a nose dive. The family house salad had two rings of onions and 6 croutons the rest was romaine. My daughter had to go hunting for the red peppers in her Mac n cheese and my other kids spaghetti was so dry you can see the cracks appear in the pasta. Our waitress that no fault of her own was managing six tables by yourself, which obviously slowed down the service dramatically. Management needs to take another look At the day-to-day operations and make some corrections immediately if they want to recoup this customer again

We love going to Georgio’s Chicago pizzeria. Their dough nuggets and truffle fries are a must try for appetizers.
We love their deep dish pizza which are freshly baked and really good. Have plenty of toppings available to choose from.
Waiting time can be tricky depending on the time of the day and day of the week. We always call ahead of time to get an estimate on wait times and plan accordingly.
Staff is nice and friendly and service is very fast as well when compared with other deep dish pizza places.
Highly recommend to anyone who likes deep dish pizza and want to try some other places than the regular pizza franchise places.

Was at this restaurant for a Christmas party.
And wanted to revisit to eat off the menu
Tried the beef combo and the meatball sub , both were amazing.
Their bread/ buns have to be made at the restaurant so fresh and perfect .
The meatballs were great and the sausage was spicy and great addition to the beef sandwich.
My wife had the fettuccine alfredo which she said was in the top 2 she ever had.
The appetizer dough nuggets were great and fresh .
Fries were cooked perfect , mix of steak type fry with added crispyness.
Down fall was only the red sauce was way to acidic for dipping need to add some sugar.
Our server Jaslyn was awesome and spot on.
Definitely be back for more dinner outings.

I had dinner here on a Saturday night. Waited about an hr for a table and an hr for food. I dont see anything in here that would justify the wait. The food was ok. Pizza is not bad but not worth a 2 hr wait. The thin pizza was almost cracker thin, with what seemed like corn meal on the bottom. The deep dish pizza did not have much as far as a cheese pull and didn’t seem deep to me. I want to say the pizza is similar to home run inn but better than home run inn. I wasn’t a fan of the hot wings. Menu says they’re smoked and fried, I thought they were soggy. My son loved the loaded fries, I didn’t think they were special. My waitress was friendly, but nothing extraordinary. I suggest you give it a try.

Working with Georgio’s has been an amazing experience and such a seamless process. We instantly had a great connection with Joe and felt so comfortable. He was responsive, accommodating, and just overall a genuinely nice person. The restaurant and all staff involved worked so hard and went above and beyond! Our servers during the rehearsal dinner were absolutely amazing and checked on everyone frequently. The food was out of this world as always and received glowing reviews from our guests.
