This was our second time visiting this restaurant.
Since the food had been delicious the first time, we decided to give it another go.
I am very particular about where I eat menudo, but I decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. I am a bit of a menudo snob. Outside of my own, this menudo was delicious! The corn tortillas were great… I actually can’t wait to go back and have it again upon my next visit to San Antonio.
The service was perfect. We were a party of four having taken my elderly mom out for breakfast, and I can honestly say, the waitress did not miss a beat. The strawberry lemonade with boba is a must! The atmosphere was friendly, everyone seemed to be clearly enjoying their breakfast. My husband ate the huevos rancheros and he left a clean plate! If you know where this little spot is, don’t miss it!

Great tacos and very tasty mexican food. Speciality tacos and lunch specials smack. This is definitely my go to spot after a workout. The waitresses Tania and Claudia are polite and very professional. Thanks.

I I’ve just recently begun visiting this place, and while the food was generally enjoyable, I encountered a real issue when I bit into an uncooked taco. After raising my concern with the waitress, her response was simply, “Do you want another?” which didn’t sit well with me at all. When I took my complaint to the manager, she asked why I hadn’t sent it back for a replacement. It left me wondering—does anyone here truly care that I had already taken a bite of raw ground beef?

You have to try this small but large in taste cafe. Heard about it from an acquaintance and he is now a friend! Great food. Great price. One of San Antonio’s hidden dining jewels. Try the lunch specials. Good deal! Tortillas fluffy and great. There were two servers working and they are a great team. The Chicken Mole (white or dark meat) your choice is very good. There are two Chile relleno is deliciously stuffed with picadillo and cheese and covered with more cheese and a ranchero sauce that is outstanding. This is old school food at its best. Highly recommend

Just picked up from georgias and found old avacado slices on my plate. The worst part is when I called the manager sonia she said she didn’t see anything wrong with it. Guess nothing has improved even with new management.

Great cafe with subtle differences on typical Tex-Mex. We got the large plates and there was easily enough food for 2 people (or 1 teenage boy). Very reasonable prices. If you’re in the area, you need to try it out.

Very busy, all tables were full. I waited maybe 2 minutes. I had a breakfast plate, huevos rancheros. It’s was good and the tortillas were home made. Waitress at my table was always around, my coffee stayed hot. I’ll be back with the familia.

Came here today since I got invited by a co-worker around lunch time. It was super busy but staff seats you quick and are very friendly. Not a long wait for the food. He told me about the restaurant and the fideo loco! Super close to my work. He got the fideo loco which is what they are famous for. I didn’t try it but he said it was amazing. The fideo loco is on the daily special every day. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. I got the small Mexican plate (1 cheese enchilada and 1 crispy taco) with rice and beans. Everything was very flavorful. The rice was yummy. The flour tortillas were homemade and fluffy. The enchilada sauce was super good. I also got a barbacoa taco on the side. I love barbacoa so much and make it myself so I’m super picky when it comes to barbacoa. It’s was really greasy but the taste was delicious. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars because of the barbacoa being greasy but taste wise it was yummy. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant. I spent about $25! Give them a try
