A friend of mine told me about this place , so decided to drive 30mins to try it out. Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking . The inside is definitely inviting , with plenty of seating to either wait or eat your food. TVs are mounted along the wall and the music selection is on point. Ordering the food simple and easy . The wait was only 15 minutes . My friend and I enjoyed both our meals . The chicken and turkey wings were perfectly cooked , the Mac n cheese was okay , the collard greens were perfectly cooked but lacked season . Overall the food was good as well as the half n half.

I’m late w/ this review!!…My LOOOVE took me here for a outing 09-24-25 never been or heard of this spot but it had SOUL. I went it it was very nicely open space, layout was comfortable and they had a pink pretty luxurious chair!! I’ve never seen. I saw wings but then I saw Catfish!!, catfish won in VERY particular where I get that from, I got that the Mac and cheese and cabbage, you can’t mix greens with cabbage which was cool. The customer service was helpful on my wings or fish debate lol and welcoming overall. I dug into my food you get Two healthy heavy serving filets of fish seasoned well but a litttle salty but very tolerable I crushed!!!, the cabbage was cooked like grandmas down home the Mac is just right!!. I’d absolutely return just for this meal!! So kudos for making me a immediate Fan!

This is my new favorite food spot! I definitely recommend! My sister and I went there yesterday and we got baked leg and thigh with gravy entree with potato salad and green beans. And Fried chicken breast with mac and cheese and mash potato and a coconut cake with half and half ice teas. It also came with corn bread. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS OH MY GOD!!!! i could not stop eating. The service was wonderful! The lady at the cash register was so sweet and kind. The atmosphere was so pretty i love the set up of the couches and R&B music was playing in the background. I am definitely coming back again!!

I am an over the road truck driver from philly when i tell you its HARD to find ACTUAL GOOD. Tasting soul food it is HARDDDD chile!! I was parked up at the truck-stop and decided to order on ubereats i first called to see if the Collards were made with Turkey and they were!! (APLUS) once the food got here it was still warm Chicken was seasoned and fried PERFECTLY THE MAC WAS GOOD AND THE GREENS WERE TOO didnt taste canned even if they are I couldn’t tell lol i got a good batch today and i will definitely be ordering Everytime i stop in Maryland!

This food was made with love. The catfish was still crispy after 40 minutes before delivery! The greens are super tasty and the mac passes the cheese pull test! I’m super picky about ordering delivery. I will scour through reviews for almost a hour before I decide where to get food. This is a no hesitation spot for real. Oh and they are -not- stingy with the portions. You’re getting all you could ask for from a soul food spot

The food was good. I haven’t been in years. When I first went it was wow. I went back and I noticed the restaurant is no longer black owned. Or at least I thought it was black owned bc you know soul food. Last time I went all the workers were Latino or Spanish speaking. I mean it’s not a bad thing I just guess they got new management.

The food is okay. The food is either too salty or too sweet. For example, my husband ordered fish. He said, “the fish is too salty”. We both agreed, the potato salad is too sweet.
It really is a matter of preference. I like eating fish with no salt on it. I also eat salad with salt but no sugar.
I love ribs. The ribs did not taste delicious to me. It tasted, like, no seasoning just barbecue sauce.
The cabbage is delicious. It is tasty and seasoned well.
The dessert is okay. The coconut cake and strawberry cheese cake tasted plain. It did not have flavor or richness to it. My husband and I tasted each dessert. We both came to the same conclusion.
Lastly, cornbread muffin is delicious.
I am not happy with the online service.
We placed order online. I did not get items I wanted. I ordered collard greens and received cabbage instead.
