The food was excellent and our server Kelsye was fabulous! She was kind, attentive and fun. We also thought the meal was very reasonably priced. We all had some type of fried seafood which was delicious and all of our sides were good as well. It was also nice there was a full bar.

If you are looking for fancy ambiance this not the place however this place delivers in everything else. The food (at least what we had) was really tasty. The smash burgers and gumbo to die for. The grilled stuff oysters were perfect. Definitely come here. Ignore that it’s next to a truck stop. The bartender knows how to hook you up and the prices are very reasonable.

Run, don’t walk to this fabulous gem of a restaurant. I had the buffet and my husband ordered off the menu. Both exceptionally great food. Roody, the chef needs to be acknowledged. The gumbo soup on the buffet is to die for and honestly could’ve been my entire meal. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had and excellent flounder with shrimp. Service by Bruce spot on and friendly. So worth the price under $50 for 2 with salads, drinks and desserts too! I only wish they would open in Florida! 10+++ We will be back

We had a wonderful experience at Georgia Comfort Kitchen in Savannah. We selected the buffet so we could try a little of everything, and it did not disappoint. The fried catfish and fried chicken were cooked to perfection — golden, crispy, and incredibly flavorful. The mashed potatoes were creamy, the collards were seasoned just right, and everything tasted like authentic Southern home cooking.
The highlight of the meal was the apple crumble — truly the best I’ve ever had. It alone is worth the visit! Highly recommend.

Our waitress was friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a very calm friendly atmosphere. We found the food to be alright. My husband is from the South and grew up on the things on the menu and he ordered the catfish (he said he wouldn’t order it again) I ordered the chicken strips and salad bar. The salad was good. The chicken strips tasted like the chicken had been soaked in lemon juice. Over all the cost wouldn’t have been bad if we actually ate the food, we didn’t even opt for take home.

Saturday evening was busy. Lots of hotels in area and this is highest rated restaurant on exit. Buffet was good; fried chicken, Mac and cheese and peach cobbler were best. Pic is plate from buffet.

Amazing Food, service, and atmosphere! Shelli provides second to none service and fantastic recommendations. The meatloaf and fried chicken were over the top. Make sure to try the Hot Honey glaze, I have not had anything like it and loved it. We will be back the next time thru!

Georgia Comfort Kitchen offers a welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. Our waiter, Wyatt, greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and cozy, adding to the overall experience.

For appetizers, I had the crab cakes, which were well-prepared with green and red onions and real crab meat …. My entree was fried shrimp , mac & cheese, and fried okra. The portion sizes were impressive, but the dishes could use more seasoning.

My wife had the salmon with mashed potatoes and buttered corn, which also lacked seasoning and garnish. I shared my feedback with the chef and manager, and I hope that future visits will have better seasoning.

Overall, I recommend giving Georgia Comfort Kitchen a try. The potential is there, and with a bit more attention to flavor, it could be fantastic.

Stopped here today while passing through, and had the best gumbo of my life!! It took a little bit, but the wait was completely worth it. It was so good, I forgot to take a photo before I ate it. My husband had the buffet and loved it. Great job everyone! Will definitely stop again when in the area.

One word to describe my experience..IMPRESSIVE. I can’t think of another restaurant in or around town that tastes so good. Every item I had from the buffet was flavorful and well executed. Chef Roody was a pleasure to meet and Bruce provided excellent service (and he was busy). The atmosphere complimented the food and vice versa. My family dined here for Valentine’s Day, and I just expected the same ol same old, but what a surprise. GCK has my vote hands down, best restaurant in and around town. They may need to start some sort of point accrual system so I can rack up! I can still taste the food as I leave this post…
