We are a scratch kitchen, offering fresh ingredients that are cooked with love. Our meats are slowly smoked by expert pit masters over apple and hickory wood and some of our recipes have been passed down and perfected for generations from our family members.
In addition to amazing Sweet and Unsweet Tea (brewed fresh daily) and our Southern-style BBQ, we are known for our wide selection of house made sides, and delicious desserts. Join us in our Dining Room or sit at our comfortable, relaxed bar and enjoy a wide selection of draught beers and cocktails.

First time to Georgia Boys BBQ and both food and service was great. This visit was on a weekday at lunch, and we had no problems getting a table and quick service to the table.
The restaurant seems bigger than it looks, which also includes a nice patio with umbrellas. After seating, our server came right over to get drink orders and allowed ample time for us to review the menu since it was my first time. Orders include the KC combo plate, 2 meat platter and kids Mac and Cheese, which all were served timely and piping hot. I appreciated the server clarification on my choice of lean brisket or burnt ends for a fattier version, which the burnt ends were excellent.
Overall, each of the entrees and kids’ meal were well prepared and delicious. I love the options of having all the different BBQ sauces on the table, so “newbies” could try all the options.
A great place for some BBQ and I would make the drive again from Denver to Longmont for another meal.
Tips for your visit: The restaurant has a low profile look from the road, so be careful not to drive right by it, and the parking lot is very small, but has plenty of street parking as needed.

We ordered takeout from Georgia Boys BBQ in Longmont and spent just over $100, so we were expecting a solid family meal. The staff at pickup were genuinely friendly and the service itself was great — no complaints there.
Unfortunately, the portions were very disappointing for the price. The meal package we ordered was advertised to feed 4–6 people, and we also paid an additional $15 for ribs. Three of the four meats were very small servings and all packed together in the same container, which made the portions look even smaller and mixed all the flavors together. The ribs were the only meat packaged separately, and honestly, they were the only protein that felt like a reasonable serving size.
The sides were also a letdown. The broccoli container was only filled halfway, and it was extremely over-seasoned to the point where it wasn’t really enjoyable.
Overall, the service was great but the value and portion sizes didn’t match the cost or the description of the meal. Hoping this was just an off night, but for the price, we expected more.

Finally, a place in Colorado that serves REAL SOUTHERN BBQ. They use Hickory in their smoker, like real BBQ should! You won’t find any gross, oak smoked Texas BBQ here. Great service too! I had a fantastic experience. Will be back soon for more! My only complaint is the Georgia memorabilia all over the walls. Roll Tide!

I just paid $22 and some change for the “Ultimate French Dip”…. This sandwich and the brisket is horrible. The meat was so dried out it was awful. I will NOT be going back to this location. Very disappointed.
The drink I had was good though, and her service. Just crap food.

Came here with some friends. Nice place with a laid back vibe. The staff was prompt and got us seated right away. It was such a nice day that we decided to sit outside with others. Definitely a nice outdoor space. Parking was a little tight but manageable. The food was delicious, the ribs were tender, meaty and delicious, I did not even want to put any BBQ sauce on them. Did end up trying the BBQ sauce and it was good. The burnt ends were good but a little fatty. Fries were crispy but not over done and seasoned perfectly. The toast on the other hand…. Well we just leave that alone. The nachos did not disappoint but I would have to say it needed a little more meat. Everyone in our group said the food was delicious and they would definitely come back and suggest this place to their friends and family. Someone said it was pricy but, what isn’t any more, at least you know you’re getting good food. Give it a shot, what else do you got to lose, besides money. :).

The food at Georgia Boys BBQ was excellent, but the service made the experience. Our server Jessica was a 10+ — she knew the menu well and helped us order some of the best food we’ve had there.
I had a not-so-great visit in the past and almost didn’t come back. I’m glad we did. Jessica was also amazing with my child, very attentive and kind. Because of her, this visit was fabulous. We’ll definitely be back
We had the Kansas City combo with burnt ends sweet potato casserole and garlic broccoli absolutely amazing.

Florida boy here to give his opinion of this fine BBQ establishment. 10/10 recommend. Service, atmosphere, and food all top notch. I had the pimento pork sandwich with bacon and it was phenomenal. Friends had ribs and brisket, again, amazing. Sauces and sides were some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t miss the chance to come here if you’re in the area and hungry.

I’m a little sad, we use to go to this place when it first opened in the little house and it was so good and the staff was exceptional. My recent experience was so far from that. I ordered days in advance for the Super Bowl then went to pick up my order and they said they were out of the mac and cheese that I ordered so I needed to pick something else and were not apologetic at all. I then waited 20 min for them to get me the substitute side. The food was cold by the time I got home, the side containers were filled only half way and the turkey was dry. So sad, I use to love this place.

This place was on my saved list to try when in Longmont and we were there over a weekend and decided to try it on a Friday night (6/20/25). It was a warm summer day, but the sun was going down and wanted to enjoy the outside patio area. Living in the ATL and having UGA-fan family members, it was interesting to hear the story of these two Georgia boys meeting in Athens and deciding to open a BBQ joint in CO (smart move!). We got the Half Sampler that feeds 2-3 people where we got pulled pork, brisket (still had burnt ends!), maple bourbon pork belly and hot links with mac n’ cheese, okra, sweet potato casserole, fries (daughter’s choice) and Texas Toast. I had heard the sweet potato casserole was delicious (and it was), but all the sides knocked it out of the park. This and the best BBQ I’ve had in CO made this place a top spot to visit anytime I’m back in Longmont. There was enough to have another meal the next da and it was still good. Don’t go to the chain Dave’s when driving through the town and stop by this excellent joint. Go Dawgs!!
