What a gem. Decided to drive cross country from I20 to I85 to avoid Atlanta traffic especially I285. Saw this bbq joint and had to try. WOW! Great friendly staff, reasonable prices, great food. Good selection of sauces. Bbq sandwich was smoked perfectly. But you have to try the bbq egg rolls. Absolutely delicious!!! Wish I lived closer. Thanks to the owner for a great meal.

Redneck egg rolls are definitely worth trying. All 3 BBQ sauces are excellent. Stew was best I’ve had…very good!! Baked beans, coleslaw, buttered Texas toast, pulled pork, fried okra….all was wonderful! This rating should be a 5* once we’ve tried the ribs. Owners amazing and super friendly! Hoping to move to the area and make it our new date night spot! See ya soon!

Georgia BBQ Co. came highly recommended and it “was” good. The setting, decor, and atmosphere is perfect for a BBQ place. With it seemed a little pricey, the portions were large. The sauce – which can be a dealbreaker – was yummy. A unique menu item was the BBQ egg rolls. The come two to serving and they are cut in half. There is a Polynesian-type BBQ sauce served with it. And, they were yummy. All three who tried them enjoyed them, along with a basic sandwich. They do serve plates with French fries and a host of other items…if you have someone in the crowd who isn’t a fan of BBQ (bless their heart). There is inside seating with a little shopping area and picnic tables outside (fair warning – it’s on a busy road with lots of log trucks rolling by – if you are looking to have a conversation – you may want to sit inside). We’ll be back. BTW – they are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Country’s BBQ in Columbus is awesome and always has been for the nearly 40 years I’ve been going there! All the staff were very kind and attentive and the environment is always nostalgic and clean. If your ever in the Columbus GA area stop by country’s and have some bbq!
