May-June 2021 – My new “best fruit cake” stop. We stopped in town because of a sign we saw for Claxton Fruitcakes. Their shop was closed and we decided to try this place. So glad we did. Great little bakery, good coffee and super congenial staff. We bought the bourbon fruit cake, served it to family, and everyone loved it! Definitely one of the best fruitcakes I’ve ever had!

A friend and I were driving through town on a road trip down to Daytona Beach, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out a local bakery in Claxton. The donut I had was AMAZING. My friends and I were In the area for a wedding and we decided to come in for some coffee. We had a blended caramel iced coffee and it was better than Starbucks. The lady was real nice and it looked like she did everything herself she had donuts and sausage rolls which we didn’t try but looked and smelled delicious. We bought some sugar cookies and they were really good. I definitely will be coming back next time in the area.

Very good brownies that comes in the brown bag on the table in there, I stopped in every Saturday when I come through there from my during the week trucking routes. The lady who bakes is super nice and sweet lady, she talks to you like she been knowing you all your life. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. I’m going to start drinking coffee out on the patio they have there and just chilax there for a few, it’s a very pleasant environment, with all the breakfast goodies that you can handle lol.

The ‘Pigs in a blanket”, sausages wrapped inside biscuits, were extremely delicious and affordable. I also bought a dozen of glazed doughnuts. This place sells more than “fruitcakes”. It is highly suggested to check this bakery out. It is open early in the morning, and the food is fresh. The food is also scrumptious.

Got a couple fruitcakes for my Mom, she loves fruitcake and her birthday is in a couple days.
Easy in and out to the street. Clean. Several goodies to pick from. I got the fruitcakes, a bag of chewy blondies (don’t remember what they were labelled), and some day old apple turnovers. And the cashier made me a fresh pit of coffee!
Very clean (had to say it twice) and very friendly atmosphere.
I plan to stop by again on my way back from my trip.
