*The New England clam chowder was nice and hot temperature wise, with filling chunks of potatoes and clams; lobster bisque has a tasty base but wood prefer more chunks of lobster.
*Hush puppies were hot and golden brown with a delicious and creamy dipping sauce.
*The shrimp cocktail was presented nicely and slightly warmed. The size of the shrimp is large. Very delicious, lemon and lime with cocktail sauce.
*Fried calamari was fried to a nice crisp and served hot with dipping sauces and lemon wedge.
*Jumbo lump crab cake was perfectly broiled with a nice slight crisp, no filler all lump. Delicious!
*Lobster mayo roll- toasted roll was delicious with chunks of lobster. I requested my lobster chilled on toasted roll with extra mayo. The complimentary coleslaw was even good, all coleslaw is not created equal!
*Vanilla bean cheesecake is a small but reasonably sized cut with whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate shavings. Delicious!
*Chocolate cheesecake to our surprise actually had a chocolate chip cookie (I believe it was dough but it may have been a baked cookie) over cheesecake filling with whip cream, chocolate shavings, and strawberries.
The pitcher of water had blueberries, strawberries, and oranges. We each got a complimentary box of chocolate and I got to take a V-Day balloon. We had a great experience and will return again.
The crab cake was, without a doubt, the best I have ever eaten in my life! I can’t recommend this place enough….run, don’t walk, to this restaurant!
This was the best seafood restaurant I have ever been to. The food was incredible and so is the service. Everyone was so sweet. They let us try the soup before buying it to make sure we liked it. The lobster roll, hush puppies (recommended by front server) and lobster bisque was out of this world. Will definitely need to come back here every time in Washington. Even got lollipops on the way out. So great!!!
The restaurant was clean and had plenty to see inside, and the staff provided clear explanations for all of our questions, even showing photos when needed. There is also seating available on the second floor.
The only small inconvenience was that there wasn’t a place to put bags. It would have been more comfortable if there were hooks or a spot next to the tables to hang them.
