Everything about this place was amazing. Seriously the best steakhouse in Modesto! The staff was so friendly, I had asked if they made espresso martinis and they said it was the one thing they didn’t have and I said it’s okay no big deal. Then about 10 minutes later the waiter brought me one they made up with the fresh brewed coffee they had and it was probably the best one I’ve had! It was very sweet of them to make one and deliver it. The vibe was really nice and the food was amazing! We got the ribeye, rice and onion rings. Everything was a 10/10. Will be coming back here soon. Thank you for a lovely experience on our first visit here.

Adrian the owner goes above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied! This place is definitely not a steakhouse but it definitely has the steakhouse pricing. Its unlike any steakhouse ive ever been too.
Walked in, staff was friendly, went to the seating area and it felt like a very dated and worn taqueria from 15yrs ago. tons of open and wasted space, tables and booths were worn, seating was not very comfortable
ordered some appetizers, the “nachos” looked like someone threw some chips on a plate and then tossed a lite helping of toppings onto them. was mostly chips
I ordered prime rib and it was pretty bland very little flavor. other people in my party felt the food was so so.
Ive gotten better steaks a lower end restaurants that cost far less.
low key atmosphere, most of the liveliness was people at the bar watching sports.

Wonderful place for date night or anytime. Food was great, service was fast and everyone is super friendly there. Didn’t go into the bar area but I did have the strawberry margarita & it was great (sorry no pic). I have had chicken marsala at plenty of places and this is the best so far! Portions are large and pricing is good. 4 stars for atmosphere because it’s a bit dark & could use some upgrades (I know it’s an older building though). Will be going back

First time here. No wait to get in which was nice. Basket of bread and garlic butter was a good touch. They were on it for drinks and refills as well.
We had the prime rib, ribeye, personal pizza and fish/chips. The service was great. The food was good. The only part that was off was the prime rib was supposed to be medium rare and it was medium well.
All in all we would go back.

With business being all wrapped up, I decided to pay a visit to my old pal Art Fuldodger over at his harpsichord repair shop, The 61 Keys. He tells me business has been a little slow, so I thought I’d take him out to a nice steakhouse. And I’ll tell you what, if you’re looking for a great steak, you go to George’s Steakhouse Bar & Grill!

First off, phenomenal service. Great atmosphere, beautiful murals.
Sadly, the smell in the bathroom was atrocious. Paint was peeling off the cieling.
The food was great as far as a great dinner goes. However, it wasn’t the best. I ordered the wagyu, rare. It wasn’t wagyu, and I wouldn’t call it rare. I also tried some of the lobster and regular steak. The lobster was dry, tough, and rubbery, not soft and flakey. Most of the flavor in everything we ordered was from the delicious, real butter sauce. The mashed potatoes tasted like butter and were really good.

Anything you get is going to be a wonderful meal. Georges has been a local favorite with good size portions at decent prices. I love their pork chops, chicken wings and well….everything.
They have a really good bar too. Great drinks
You’ll always get a basket of break and fresh butter served to you when seated and then it’s going to be a hard choice due to all the great options. That’s why you’ll need to come back multiple times in order to try their entire menu out.

Waitress didn’t know anything. Had to go ask no matter what you asked her she had to go ask no offer for refill. Hamburger that I ordered had no flavor whatsoever. My wife’s French dip look like a steak sandwich and had no flavor

Food was delicious, I had calamari steak which was cooked very good, and had an amazing butter sauce, my bf had fish and chips and the fish was crispy on the outside, flaky and most on the inside. The onion bloom was so good, tender, and the sauce was Felicia. The decor is set western mission style.
