Been here twice and used the drive through both times. Tried the cheeseburger club, grilled chicken melt and double bacon cheeseburger plate. Both were delicious and hot! Service is quick at the window.

George’s Restaurant and Drive Thru is your classic Hole-in-the-Wall restaurant that you don’t want to drive by without stopping to eat. I am from SC but currently live in Phoenix and we don’t have places like this in AZ. I miss it. The long lost sit at bar brings back the ole diner nostalgia. This is a great place with even better diner style food AND even better pricing. You’ll be so full you might break your belt but not the bank.

Do not go there 30 minutes before closing time because they will just give you what they want. I had ordered a grilled chicken salad the ordered was recited back correctly and still ended up getting a fried chicken salad I didn’t ask for. Drove 30 minutes home just to realize that was wrong & fried

They need to take down the advertisement “Best Hamburger Steak in Town”. Waitress brought me the wrong plate at first. Probably should have kept it because the hamburger steak plate was pathetic. I remember when George’s had fresh prepared food and not something processed out of a box. Not sure if I will be back or not. Anderson hopefully has some real “greasy spoon” restaurants left.

Found this place by accident. I had my keys around my neck, on a lanyard. On my keychain was a funny symbol, in which my beautiful waitress, Reagan did, as a joke to me. We at my table laughed hard for a while. My son and I just moved down here from Massachusetts. I use to be stationed in South Carolina in the 1990s, and knew one day I would retire here. Here I am, and now I have a favorite place to go eat. Their cheeseburger plate with fries is my favorite. Georges has a great staff. Southern hospitality lives strong at Georges. Reagan gets nice tips every time she is our waitress. She deserves them.

To the Managers and owners. Please teach your employees to answer the phone to say we’re unable to accept call-ins if you are too busy. I Called to place an order without a hello she said, This is George’s hold please… 3-4 minutes goes by the phone hangs up. I called right back Same thing happened. I called right back and before she said anything I was like No no no no….. if you’re not taking any more orders just say that and I can go some where else. And she started out with the You can go and stopped herself! I hung up and called Nutty Sweet Shop. A young man took my order and said it will be about 30-40 minutes. Well Sir that’s fine I understand restaurant are busy on the weekends. But for you to keep putting customers on hold just to hang up is very rude and disrespectful.
