4/5 Stars for the young lady who seem bothered by us showing up.
She was the hostess and not a smile was to be given.
Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it

Our server was nice and attentive.

4/5 stars for the food-I had a small Caesar salad, which was fine but the Caesar dressing was pretty bland

I also had the Rhode Island Calamari and I always have it fried extra. It was fine, the aioli was fine, nothing I would order again if I were to come back.

Tuez and I had an Apple cinnamon mule to drink and it was tasty.

Tuez had clam cakes and clear clam chowder-she enjoyed her meal.

The seafood pot pie that we had was very good. Good mixture of ingredients in superb creamy lobster sauce. The fish tacos were good and the aioli sauce had a nice bite to it without taking away the flavor of the fish. I was however a bit disappointed with the clam cakes. Ordered a half dozen and found only three small sliver of clams in total. We sat at the bar and Jeff our bartender was attentive to all his patrons. We opted to sit at the bar because there was a 15-20 minute wait.

Georges has come a long way since I was a child. Located right on the beach, you get to see the fishing boats come in and out. Parking can be a challenge, though there is paid parking. And there’s also street parking .
Once you get seated, though the staff it’s very friendly. And the service was very good. The food is tasty with ample portions. And a very good variety. The cocktails were delicious. If you’re lucky enough, you can sit on the outdoor patio, and check out the ocean views

We got takeout as we were on the beach. Just be aware… It is VERY pricey. We got 2 lobster rolls, fish and chips, shrimp tacos and fried cauliflower and we spent an unexpected $120! That was my first lobster roll in 20 years and will be my only lobster roll for years to come! But I savored it! It was LOVELY! The shrimp tacos with a homemade mango salsa were super yummy too…. I highly recommend both.

Fabulous
Enjoyed the Lobster Roll, homemade chips, wine and key lime cheesecake! Our waitress was super attentive and efficient. Prices are fair, if you plan to have more than one glass of wine…in some cases it’s more cost efficient to buy the bottle! There is a takeout window and a Tiki Bar on George’s beach. Next time, we plan to stay there for the day! Great views of all the boats made for a really wonderful day.

We have visited George’s takeout window many times and always enjoy their food. Instead, we sat down for dinner for a date night.

The hostess downstairs was very polite, we asked for a table upstairs and she directed us to go upstairs to ask for availability. We were seated at a high top near the bar right away.

As expected, with it being the Sunday before school starts back in session for some districts, it was very busy. We waited to be greeted by a server for about 15 minutes; we saw that the bar was backed up and servers were catching up with orders- very understandable.

Our server Jordan was knowledgeable of the menu and attentive once our service began.

But this is where our experience took a turn- the cocktail and Blue Moon that we ordered were fantastic…. the food, not so much. Mind you- my boyfriend did consume 6/8 pieces of the sushi roll because we were starving!

We ordered George’s Calamari, but we were given an order of the hurricane calamari. Because it was busy, I didn’t want to disturb our server with correcting the order. My lobster bisque was delicious, but my boyfriend’s shrimp tempura roll was interesting. Instead of authentic tempura flakes, his sushi roll had (to compare) rice krispy bits on top of it. We noticed this on several of their rolls at other tables. I understand that this establishment is not an authentic sushi restaurant, but the quality of the roll was not what we expected. The rice was not sticky rice, the roll was chewy and the wasabi tasted like the kind that you buy from a grocery store. It was watery, slightly salty and did not have much of a flavor.

For entree’s I ordered the baked stuffed shrimp with a side of orzo and broccolini, he ordered the seafood pot pie. Granted, we were expecting the pot pie to have some sauce inside like a regular pot pie- this was smothered in lobster bisque. The bread was soppy and inedible, there were some shrimp and bits of cod then the rest was potatoes.

Usually when I buy baked stuffed shrimp for the holidays from a local vendor like Captain’s Catch, they’re a reasonable size with lots of seafood stuffing (the shrimp are typically a medium or larger size after it’s been butterflied and the stuffing is a tablespoon or a little more). These shrimp were small and had a dollop of stuffing that was just breadcrumbs, nothing else. The rice pilaf was also very dry.

To top it off, I had a lobster antennae in my plate.

We will visit George’s takeout window again, but not their table service dining.

We had the pleasure of dining at George’s of Galilee, and our server (Evan… or possibly Ethan either way, he was awesome) set the tone for a great evening. Service was quick, attentive, and full of patience for all my questions.

We started with California and Alaska rolls—both incredible, but the Alaska roll stole the show with its melt-in-your-mouth freshness. Six oysters on the half shell followed, briny perfection, alongside calamari that was golden, tender, and seasoned just right.

For mains, the fish and chips (haddock) arrived with a portion of fish so large it could’ve had its own zip code, crispy on the outside, perfectly flaky inside. The shrimp scampi was tossed in just the right amount of their house-made sauce, letting the sweet, juicy shrimp shine.

From start to finish, this was a seafood lover’s dream meal with service to match. Highly recommend for anyone craving the perfect combo of fresh catch and stellar hospitality.

This was hands down some of the best seafood I’ve ever had! Every dish tasted incredibly fresh—you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients. The watermelon juice was also a standout—refreshing and packed with flavor. While the food took a little while to arrive, it was absolutely worth the wait. The overall experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
