Fun place for Saturday lunch with the wife. Atmosphere was very nice, TV’s had all kinds sports on. Great bar menu, and Bartender for that matter, she made a killer Vodka Martini. Many draft beers to choose from. Bottles and cans of beer and hard selzers were also available. Mixed crowd of all ages. Salads were generous and tasty. I ordered the Shrimp Louie and was surprised to have 21-30 shrimp instead of the Salad Shrimp which was indicated on the menu. I enjoy the taste of Oregon Small Shrimp so much better. Not a deal breaker but it’s not what I expected. The Mediterranean salad had copious amounts of feta cheese and olives which was a hit for my wife. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking was available. Our staffer, Lauren, was very pleasant and helpful. A big plus as it made our lunch that much more enjoyable. Prices were fair. The owners seem to be very well involved in the community.

George’s Bonney Lake Tavern has a cozy, speakeasy vibe that instantly stands out. Perfect for date nights or game days. The Classic BLT was fresh and flavorful, though the French Dip was a bit on the smaller side. The real star was the drinks—Tad was great and easy to talk to. I loved how he was knowledgeable (as any real quality bartender should be) he was about crafting cocktails and his willingness to make a new drink. Our Negroni (off menu) was made perfectly, with the right kind of ice and a proper cherry (none of those fake neon red ones!), and the Jungle Bird (off menu) was equally spot-on. We also ordered the old fashioned that was on the menu and was equally delicious. The laid-back atmosphere and attention to quality far exceed any tavern/bar or so-called “lounge” on the plateau. We’ll definitely be back for more of Tad’s cocktails. Also excited to try some other food and dessert options!

They have a great whiskey lineup. They have all the Weller lineup They have an outdoor sitting area. They have a bar area pool tables that works. It’s a great place to stop to have a beverage or get a bite to eat. Straight from the barrel.

My wife & I have been to GBLT a dozen times over the past year so I felt like I needed to take a minute to leave an honest review. This place is a 10/10 any day of the month – great food, great drink selection, cool atmosphere. Fairly pricey (but what ISN’T pricey in 2026?). But we decided to pay a visit for gameday Sunday and had our first bad experience. Bad enough that we’d never return? No. But bad enough where we would choose elsewhere to watch the Superbowl in 2 weeks.

Not enough bartenders. After we were seated at the bar and quickly received our first drinks, we went with two empty glasses and menus in our hands for 35 minutes before anyone behind the bar even looked our way. The 2 couples next to us had the same problem. There simply wasn’t enough service at the bar.

Once we were served, the food was exceptional as always. (Fish tacos for me, wife had a steak that was quite overcooked but she said it was fine and ate it anyways haha)

The 2nd real problem besides super slow service was half of the TVs (on the restroom side of the bar) had a significant delay. I’m not sure if the place needs to expand via wifi extenders or route ethernet cable to the TVs on this half of the establishment but, it sucked having to listen to the main dining area cheer for a JSN touchdown then having to wait 10 seconds to see it on our TV. It seems petty but it wasn’t enjoyable to sit where we were – we left at halftime to find a better place to view the game.

*$2 off drinks and $3 off appetizers for gameday was awesome. It lured us in. Fix the understaffed bar and half of the TVs and we’d happily return for live sports games.

Came in for lunch. My husband said it was the best fish and chips he has ever had! They changed the recipe from our first visit. I had the drink Georges jolt it was delicious!

Came in and got some of their potato wedges! Came with a garlic aioli but was great in sour cream. Also had a drink that was delicious! Nice friendly service!

We came to check it out before the actual opening. My husband had the fish and chips and I had one of their pizzas. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They were very busy and I got no cheese on my pizza and Lauren our server was happy to help fix the issue! Everything was good, I can’t wait to try again once they’ve been in business a while!

Second time in stopped for drinks and and app. The drinks were ok, had a top shelf long island that was real sour needed some extra coke to calm it down to drinkable. The waitress, Natalia, offered to remake it. Then had a diet Coke and Seagram’s 7 was fine. The app was a special jalapeno poppers not on the menu and they weren’t very warm. The manager brought us a new fresh order. The staff was amazing at taking care of any of our needs and concerns and that means a lot!! Also the whole time they had Dixie chicks playing the whole time and it was tiring.

Love this restaurant! Our first time there. My dad’s ribeye was perfectly cooked, and burgers and salad were great. Great gluten free options too. Highly recommend! Definitely gonna be my family and I’s go-to place. Super fun to watch the football game there too!

First time here and we will definitely come back! We had a great bloody mary and my daughter and I split the buffalo chicken wrap. I would definitely order both again! Very clean, bright and decorated so festively for the holidays. Our server was friendly, efficient and took great care of us!

My wife liked her dinner. But mine was quite sub par. I ordered the New York steak and asked it be cooked rare. It came with broccoli and a baked potato. There was too much garlic on the broccoli for my liking. The steak had a grain of grizzle running all the way through it. I couldn’t cut it with the steak knife they gave me and I couldn’t chew it. Worst of all the steak was cooked medium well and was tough and not very flavorful. At least the baked potato was good.

Our server only checked on us once after our food came out.

It’s a nice venue and we e had some good lunch here before. But tonight’s dinner ruined it for me.

The service was a little slow, and the music a little loud for breakfast. It wasn’t the wait staff’s fault, they were friendly and attentive, but they were busy and could have used help. The food was excellent, though, and once it came all was forgiven. GREAT pancakes (loved the texture and flavor) and their gravy is the best I’ve had. They do need to get new tabletops – they are clean but they’re timeworn and stained and look dirty.

We finally visited after the change of ownership, excited because we’d heard good reviews. We left bummed as we did not have a good experience. We started with an appetizer (jalapeño poppers) that was horrible, there was 4 of them, for $20 I might add, and we couldn’t finish them they were so bad. The 2 dinners that followed were equally as bad. Do not recommend this place, we will not be returning. Bad food and crazy expensive!
