We decided to drive to Union to go here on a Thursday evening for their Unlimited Frog Legs for $24 per person. We got a bucket of beer to go with it. It came with Cajun seasoning, Butter and your choice of Peaches or Cole Slaw.
The Frog Legs were the BOMB! Fried to perfection and paired great with some Red Hot hot sauce. Definitely a must try on a Thursday. Only place we’re found in our area that serves them.

First time there. Fish basket is delicious. 3 huge pcs crunchy lightly breaded. French fries enough for 3 people! I don’t like Cole slaw. Something else next time as choices. Be back!

This is a cute little “Lake Life” neighborhood bar and grill. The food and service was incredible! Kinda like Cheers, but with amazing food.
It obviously has a good crowd of local regulars, plus a hefty amount of takeout orders. We enjoyed a delightful Sunday after-church meal there, hoping it would be worth the stop.

The waitress recommended the daily special of beer battered fish and fries. I’m glad I took her up on it! They were scrumptious! The batter was crispy, and not too thick. The fish was so hot, flakey very tasty.
The hot wings were the surprise. Probably the best I have had.
Ever.
Fried to perfection in something called “Drake’s”, and hand tossed in a hot honey glaze that was a great balance of hot and sweet.
I will be back for the wings!
My wife had a very tasty turkey club crossaint sandwich with chips. She was very happy.
Apparently, their breakfasts are fantastic. I’m told they do “bacon biscuits and gravy.” I’ve never tried this and feel it is a moral imperative that I try it. I will edit my post after I have tried it.
Prices were EXTREMELY reasonable.
The atmosphere is beach bar fun. Simple, but klitchy. Better than I expected from the outside, only I wasn’t sure what to expect.
It’s a small place, but we were able to get seated and served quickly.
Everyone on staff was very friendly, like family friendly. I’d love to come back because they were all sweet folks that love what they do. Props to the day waitresses! You all were great!
You could feel the love and the pride in the establishment. Honestly, it means a lot. This isn’t a chain, this is a family-run place serving great food at great prices, with a smile.
If you can, stop by. It’s worth it!

This gentleman is so considerate everytime he delivers ( the ladies are just as amazing) especially during the winter and the challenges of delivering with my snow covered driveway! Definitely a fan fave of the locals that reside around the lakes nearby. Very good service. Robust menu and beer selection. Fried chicken & fish (and Thursday Frog Legs) appear to be the favorites. We know family members from both Elkhart & Edwardsburg that frequent this venue.

This is a really cool little spot. Stopped here for dinner when I was up visiting my grandpa. Thay have a pretty solid prime rib special on the weekends. Service was great and staff was lovely. Its a bit off the path but its definitely worth the stop if youre in the area!
