It’s a bold move to order the burger at an Italian restaurant, but I did on recommendation and it did not disappoint one bit. This burger is fantastic. If you enjoy big, loaded, juicy burgers, then this is the spot for you.

Food was good overall. Service was prompt and friendly… Just a little noisy on Berry Hill road but a nice outdoor spot

If I could give George White 6 stars I would!!! What an amazing place, with phenomenal food, great ambiance and most important run by such great people. The weekly specials are awesome (I can’t tell you the last time I ordered an entree off the “regular” menu), and the vodka sauce is the best around. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you will come back again and again….

First time eating here for restaurant week. The service was excellent, great atmosphere and good food. We had the regular and short ribs, muscles, carrot cake and cannoli for desert. The food was prepared well however it was missing the wow factor. Nothing overly flavorful or seasoned. I was a bit disappointed but all and all a good dinner and experience.

My girlfriends and I visited George White restaurant for the first time during Long Island Restaurant Week and it was a commendable experience. Cathy, our server and the owner prepared our drinks, offered recommendations for the meal and provided great service. For drinks we ordered the lemon drop and martinis; for appetizers we ordered the short ribs, brussel sprouts, spinach dip; for dinner we ordered the filet of sole piccata and chicken piccata; dessert was the carrot cake and chocolate cake. The food came out hot, was delicious and well prepared. We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely visit again.

An amazing experience, food and service were incredible! Music was also very nice and puts you in a warm place. Dessert show was the cherry on top! Definitely recommend.

Completely uninspired. Service was medicore. I had sautéed calamari that tasty fishy and was rubbery. My wife had a completely bland salad. Two stars because the cocktails were actually well done. I’d avoid this place.

Randomly stopped by on the way to Sagamore Hill. The restaurant was very festive (Dec visit) and the staff were amazing. The food was good. I had the Ceasar salad with chicken. I would recommend when in the area.

My family had a great experience here. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the hospitality of the owner’s Cathy and Frank, as well as Frank’s sister Finette. They couldn’t be nicer and made us feel at home.

Absolutely delicious, manhattan dining on the island. I learned that it is a family owned business, and everyone we encountered was so kind and accommodating from start to finish. The drinks were particularly awesome; we ordered an elderflower tom collins and lychee martini. We will definitely be back!
