Best roast beef sandwiches I’ve had. Absolutely delicious and flavorful. Jr Beef’s are BIG, super beefs are huge. I had a 4-way Jr beef which includes onion rings on top… oh my god, to die for. The onion rings have great flavor and not thick coated batter. Waitress was awesome and a SPECIAL BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT to her.
Met the owner, very nice guy.
Best of all…..the Halloween decorations are great, especially in the bathroom

What a great experience. I was a little thrown off by the eclectic 70’s 80’s horror movie theme. Made it more interesting. Counter ordering followed by table delivery & service. Very friendly and accommodating servers. Always checking in. Super Beef with mayo cheese and a Coke. At first the meat looked a little off medium rare, but every bite was tender, warm and perfectly seasoned. Every bite was equally as good as the last. It wasn’t overly busy so I was wondering if they were going to be on point. They were. Delicious.

George and Leons in Westbrook, Maine, is a gem for comfort food lovers. The roast beef sandwiches are incredible—juicy, stacked high, and every bite is satisfying. The onion rings? Massive, literally the size of my face, with a perfect golden crunch. Their freshly made chicken sandwiches with chipotle bring just the right kick, while the chicken tendies are honestly better than any fast-food joint could dream of serving. Add in some fun drinks to share with friends, and it makes for the ultimate casual hangout spot.
The vibes are also on point—spooky and festive, perfect for the upcoming Halloween season. And if you’re a fan of North Shore-style roast beef, you’ll want to try the super beef here. It seriously rivals some of the best you’ll find in Massachusetts.
All in all, an easy 9/10—this place nails both food and atmosphere.

You got to check out the bathroom you’ve never seen anything like this in your life. Now that I know what I know I would get my meet sliced instead of shaved and cooked just a little bit it was a little too rare for me the onion rings and the fries were very good

If you have not been here yet, you need to do yourself a favor, and come here for a steak and cheese or best of all a roast beef sandwich!! (be sure it’s a super) To go with your yummy decision, get an order of onion rings as well.
This place is a fun little horror movie museum eatery!
Don’t forget to use the restroom, even if it’s just to wash your hands.

George and Leon’s is one of my favorite spots to stop in for lunch or dinner. It’s great both solo or with friends. The staff has always been so nice, funny, and helpful every time I’ve been here. I love having a spot that is both casual with booths and a fun menu, and also has a full bar. Want it to go? Fine. Wanna stay and have 5-7 beers? Always fine! My favorite things to get are the Jr. Beef (perfect size for me), chicken finger sub, cheeseburger sub, big salad, broccoli bites and onion rings. Not all at the same time haha. Coming for dinner tonight with a friend for their first time and have been thinking about it all day <3 Long live the beef!

George and Leon’s has been on my list for a while because I’m gluten free and they have a GF bun. I got the Jr sandwich which was still huge and delicious! Melt in your mouth tender roast beef. Easy casual dinner spot, easy parking. I’ll be back!

I would have gone 4.5 if possible. The food was excellent, just a little pricey but no regrets. The service was good and the atmosphere was quite cool, I am guessing that the owner is a horror movie buff…

We ordered several things while we were there. We ordered the beef sandwich, a steak and cheese, and the spicy chicken sandwich. Can’t remember the name of it. We had an order of french fries, onion rings and started with the pizza rolls. Unfortunately, none of it was particularly noteworthy. The steak and cheese sandwich was dry. The beef sandwich. Although the roast beef was incredibly tender and well done, I felt like it lacked flavor. I love the fresh cut fries and onion rings except they were too salty. I did not personally taste the spicy chicken sandwich, but the person that did eat it also indicated that it was just okay. Our server seemed nice upon entry, but we all agreed her interactions were uncomfortable at best and she seemed annoyed. Maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m old but if I’m going to spend $100 for three subs, french fries and onion rings they should blow me away.
