Delicious! Italian isn’t typically my first choice for dining out but Geodono provided a tasty experience that made me a big fan. For the first time, I enjoyed Italian without that overstuffed, overloaded on carbs feeling. We ordered quite a few dishes, which were all perfect for sharing. A few plates that stand out: 1) the Caesar was refreshing and bright, and I loved that it was chopped; 2) the vegetables are AMAZING…seriously; and 3) the octopus is tender and delicious. I joked that I would order a second octopus for dessert. Service was great, both bartender and waitstaff were welcoming and attentive. We also loved the cozy atmosphere which added to the whole experience. Definitely check it out. I only snapped a few pics because everything was too tasty to wait.

New place, so we got in easily. Cozy. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the Caesar salad, it came with anchovies on top, nice touch. Friend across the table gave me her anchovies, even better :). Also had the chicken confit which was excellent. The linguini with clams was the star of the show for me. It’s a must try.  Really love the apple crumble ice cream dessert too.

They’re just opening up, less than a month open. We ended up here after Venda across the street messed up our reservation. They were so kind. They have a tapas menu and a fresh pasta bar made to order, and they brought us TWO slices of cake for my father’s birthday, which was so unnecessary but so kind. I had the creamy pesto which wasn’t creamy but still not bad, and everyone else loved theirs, so i think that was user error on my part. Stop by!

Came in last night with a friend to get a quick bite to eat and try out a new place. Geodono is quaint and cozy compared to some of the other places on Federal Hill and the prices are cheaper. The concept is small bites so you’re free to pick and choose a variety of dishes which is exactly what my friend and I did. We opted for the caesar salad (loved the radicchio in it!), chicken confit, as well as the octopus. Everything was presented beautifully, fresh, and very flavorful! It was the first time my buddy had ever tried octopus and he loved it!

For drinks he got the house margarita which he enjoyed and since I don’t drink, the waiter offered me one of their mocktails. It was really good, with fresh peaches. Capped it all off with a cappuccino. Service was great and it was a great night out without breaking the bank. Will be back for sure!

Food is excellent ! Not your Nonna’s meatballs (which we like too !) but instead, a fun, modern, Italian tapas experience! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I love that the restaurant was small and intimate and the service was top notch. I shall be back!

This restaurant is so underrated. It may not have the glitz and glamour of other federal hill restaurants, but who cares the food is so dam good. For the quality and care to the food the prices are cheap as hell. The people who work here are passionate about cooking and that’s exactly what I want.

I’ve been to Geodono several times now and each time has been pleasantly satisfying. The atmosphere is fun yet relaxing. The service was great, and the food is delicious! The caesar salad and the Alfredo are my favorites. The chicken confit is soft and tender, and pairs well with the risotto. The combination of small plates and authentic Italian food will keep me coming back!
