Another amazing bar in La Crosse. Just a block away from Menards in a quiet neighborhood you will find this gem! From the owner to the servers you can feel the authentic home town pub vibe.

Didn’t get the chance to eat here but enjoyed some drinks and pull tabs with friends. They had Leinenkugel’s White Mocha Stout that was incredible. Perfect spot for an afternoon bouncing around La Crosse. My first time. Would recommend! Good vibes. Good people!

Fantastic neighborhood bar. Staff is friendly and efficient. Pricing is great. Plenty of sports to watch. Great place start to finish.

We were there last Friday night, and the bartender was horrible. Her attention was mainly on a couple of customers at the bar, and when she did move, she didn’t look around to see who else needed to be waited on. Then she would stop by the cash register and scroll on her phone. It could have been more tolerable if she was nice or had a personality. She made us feel like we were bothering her when we finally did get her attention. We will give this place another try and hope for a different bartender next time

A nice, neighborhood sports bar. Friendly with good prices and special drinks for gamedays. Good place to go to watch Brewers or Packers.

This is what a La Crosse Northside Bar is about. This was my first time at Genzies for a Packer game and I walked a huge crowd of regulars. However, everyone treated me very well. A couple let myself and my friend sit at their table and watch the game. Meanwhile Dewey Genz and his staff working swiftly to fill drink orders. I ordered the Bloody Mary and was not disappointed. VERY well done. At half time Dewey starts to unveil the potluck for half time. Dewey’s own contribution was pulled pork sandwiches that blew the mind (and I consider myself a bbq guy with a smoker). Excellent. We sampled all the dishes brought and all were fantastic. The desserts were to die for. WI comfort food at its best. I am coming back to Genzies for a game and when I do, I’m bringing my Packer pride and a dish to pass with these wonderful people. Well done Duane and staff!

It was a pretty cool place. I remembered when it was an older bar owned by an acquaintance. It was a slow night, but it was great service.
I would tho be cautious of the bartenders or people you speak to there as they are all looking to create chaos with ALL new visitors.

A nice local bar with great people. If you are looking for a good place to enjoy the game, this is it. A nice patio outside and an everyone is welcome atmosphere. The bartenders are attentive and the owners are usually available. A great local hide-away!

They don’t take quarters, pull tabs that came home with you, drink chips, or 20s that belong to outsiders, they don’t welcome new comers very well at all
