This is one of your high end restaurants in the Monroe/West Monroe area. The duck wraps were pretty good, but my wife really loved the redfish. My pasta was okay. If you are looking for something formal, this is the place to start. Bring your checkbook!

Yes, it’s expensive. The service and food is what you would expect from an expensive restaurant though, so it’s fine! The wait staff is really good. It’s a slow place to eat, but we go for special occasions when we want to spend time talking with family and friends, so we never mind. They have a great wine selection, and will allow you to bring your own bottle if you prefer. We had a great meal. We always have a good time here. Great job Genusas!! Keep up the great consistency. But please bring back the sliced duck breast appetizer!!! It was something I always looked forward to. .

Food was cold. Service never refilled my drink with out asking rarely even came around management didn’t seem to care at all about the type of service given at this restaurant. Maybe it was an off night, but spending this much money and for the quality of restaurant this is. It should have been WAYYYYYY WAYYY better. I was severely disappointed.

Our favorite spot for drinks and dinner… or just drinks. That Cosmo is the best, and the cannelloni is SUBLIME! For a snack get the eggplant appetizer or bread with sauce. BRING cheese soup back PLEASE

Genusa’s is a remarkably unique and tailored meal for those looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. We went for a birthday celebration and were able to enjoy the bone-in filet coupled with the renowned lemon drop martini. Perfectly cooked, medium rare along with an incredible wait staff made for one of the best meals I have ever partaken in. We had the Italian sausage and eggplant for appetizers which were out of this world. You cannot go wrong and if you have any questions, the wait staff is more than able to accommodate. Highly recommend for any occasion. Don’t take my words for it, Check out the attached photos to really immerse yourself in what Genusa’s is all about. You will not leave disappointed, or hungry.

First, make a reservation. Second, if you are handicapped, don’t arrive alone. The ramp is fine but the doors open the wrong direction for someone to navigate. The hostess was not pleasant because we didn’t have a reservation but they still had space and sat us. Maliya (sp) was our server and she was incredibly sweet (and busy!). Everything we ate, portobello mushrooms, bread, Italian chicken, seafood Alfredo, martinis, all amazing. Service and food was a bit slow on a Friday night but it was well worth it!

Excellent meal, the martinis were awesome! The Carole salad was delicious. I had the chicken florentine, my daughter the cannelloni and manicotti. Everything was great! We will definitely eat here again when in town.

Lovely place with the sweetest staff. We sat at the bar (we had no reservations), and the two amazing bartenders waited on us. They were friendly but not obtrusive, and the recommendations for food were spot on. The Eggplant Napoleon with their amazing bread was delicious, and my husband described the Chicken Florentine that we shared as “craveable”. Our first trip but definitely not our last.

My husband and I can afford to eat here about once per year and we usually love the quality and service. Something has gone wrong or maybe it was an off night, but I couldn’t finish my food (the wait was super long and the manicotti tasted like something from a can. The veal was chewy). Was very disappointing- especially with a $200 bill.

Genusa’s has definitely become my top Italian restaurant. Everything was top-notch from the time we walked in.

Service was a 10/10 from beginning to end. Our waiter answered all of our questions and made suggestions. Atmosphere was lovely.

The bread that is served is OMG! Lol!

The strawberry and blueberry lemon drops are good.

We ordered chicken parmesan, chicken pomodoro(see pic), and seafood alfredo(see pic). All super delicious .

Expect to spend some money but it is well worth it. Can’t wait to go back.
