We love this place! Don’t let the strip mall location turn you away. It may not be fancy but the food is always amazing!. I chose it for my birthday dinner. I forgot to get a picture of the bread because we ate it too fast! but it is some of the best you’ll ever eat. The limoncello dessert alone is worth driving from Wichita for! We love Rosie too. She is a jewel!

Outstanding experience here. We had a family gathering at Genova and Rosie went above and beyond to not only make us feel welcome, but also to ensure we had a great time with excellent food. The service for 13 of us was perfect: quick, accurate orders, and friendly interactions. Rosie is a true gem and so is Genovas. The food is really great especially for a reasonable price. I will keep coming back!

This was some of the very best food I’ve had. I had the Spaghetti the Works that had sausage, mushrooms, and meatballs. The best! My wife had a special combo with lasagna, ravioli and tortellini. My son had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. We all love it and will be back. The owner was delightful and extremely friendly and the servers were professional. Tables were so close together there wasn’t much privacy but that’s the only thing I could think of that was less.

Love the hole in the wall feel, and friendly staff. The Alfredo was good, but the chicken was a bit dryer than what I was used to. Not the end of the world, but definitely not up there with some other Alfredo dishes I’ve had. I will say if the chicken was a bit less dry it would be in the top 3 of my Alfredo list for sure.

This is the best meal I have eaten in Newton, yet. I returned the following week and can’t wait to return again. One of a kind food, that is purely delicious. The price is incredibly fair. The owner definitely loves her restaurant (and we love her). Don’t drive by, stop in!

Loved the food. Prices were good. Very authentic and great flavor. Absolutely loved the bread and olive dressing. Warm and fresh to the table. As far as service, there’s a bit of a communication issue as our waitress had a hard time understanding us. Best to point to what you want. Yes she came by occasionally to check. Very occasionally:( Waited over 20 minutes to get a menu and there were only 6 people in there when we got there. By the time we left the place was packed. After finishing our meal we waited another 20 min before she came by to ask for our check. 10 min later we finally got our to go boxes to take home the left overs. As the serving was a great size. Well worth the $$. If the service has been better it would have been all 5 stars. As was great to hear the staff in the kitchen singing to the Italian music while waiting for our food. Just wish we had seen our waitress more often and could have been there only an hour instead of an hour and 45 min. Otherwise, it was great.

I recently visited Kansas on a girls’ trip & heard that Genova had amazing food. Not only was the food absolutely divine but the owner, Rosie, took such loving care of us!! We felt like we were truly in Italy. She took away our menus & spoiled us rotten ~ from the starters all the way through the limoncello dessert DELICIOSO!!
