My friend from Philadelphia recommended Gennaro’s and I’m so glad I went because the food is ! The staff is so friendly, the restaurant is cozy and super clean. Cheese pizza was perfectly cheesy. The Philly Cheesesteak, oooooooh! Worth every penny and enough for 2 meals. Best I’ve ever had – I’ve been to the other popular spots and they don’t even come close. Stopped in for a quick bite as I walked past the area, the person working the front counter named Chris (I believe, I’m a bit hard of hearing) was very friendly and pleasant. He told me it would be about 15-20 minutes for my food but they had it ready to go in about 10. The food was delicious, and the cheesesteak wasn’t too messy, though I do wish it had just a little bit more cheese on it. I would definitely revisit next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Had an issue with my food spoke with Mike the manager who was so sweet and offered to fix the problem for me. To say I was pleased and very satisfied is and understatement… The chicken Alfredo was very delicious Flavorful and there wasn’t a mess with the sauce Thank you for such a great lunch

Wonderful fresh and juicy cheesesteak. I didn’t know Angelo’s would have such a long wait and be cash only. So I found this place on the way to a pizza place, tucked off on a side street. It could definitely use a remodel and updating, but my experience was excellent and the food was great. Great quality bread and toasted perfectly. Quick service and friendly staff.

Gennaro’s is an excellent local Italian food restaurant. They make the best pizza and cheese steak hoagies around. They are my go to favorite restaurant. Very clean everywhere from the cooking area, their bathroom, and throughout the dining room. Suitable for family, business meetings, or romantic endeavors. Don’t miss out on their excellent food and atmosphere. Dine in or take out… its all great. Parking is easy and free.
