I just happened to drive by Genki as I was looking for a nice quiet place to have a great nutritious meal and do a bit of work before my workshop in the afternoon. I had a bowl of seafood pho and a spicy tuna hand roll for dessert… both were absolutely fantastic. Krates did a great job of balancing the role of host and cook. Highly, highly recommend!

The sushi rolls were good, sashimi fresh. Tempura nothing special. Customer service was garbage. I ordered via app for pickup and they forgot an item. They first tried to tell me it was my fault, then said it was a ‘system glitch’. If it’s your ordering system, it’s your fault, period. I asked for a partial refund and was told that was ‘not possible’. I was offered a 5% refund on a future purchase.
That was my daughter’s meal. We had to cook for her that night due to your error. You’d have made a customer for life if you’d have gone a bit above and beyond to make it right.. next time, make that meal and have it delivered, you have that capability. Instead, I’ll be avoiding your restaurant and will remember a bad experience. Great choice, guys.

Wow, I am absolutely blown away. This sushi is made just like how I enjoy it in Japan. Clean, simple, fresh. Easily the best California rolls I’ve had locally by far! I cannot wait to go back and try even more rolls 🙂 thank you so much – I think this will have to be a weekly spot for my husband and I now!

Me and my friend got a chance to stop by and grab a small boat for take out. The fish is fresh and the sushi rice was awesome. It is a great deal for this price and quality and would suggest visiting them for sushi.

WOW! So good!!! I got the black garlic tonkatsu and it was amazing.. The pork was so soft and delicious. Flavorful, great presentation and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

My husband and I had an awesome sushi experience! We ordered the Spicy King Combo and Deep Fried Angry Salmon Roll. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the service was exceptional. Dessert was outstanding! Thank you.

Fantastic location on the east side, service was prompt, polite and very good overall.
My wife got the tonketsu Ramen and loved it, as for myself, I got a fried California roll and a Philidelphia roll. The wife was happy with her order and I loved mine, they do sushi the right way and the portions and size of each individual piece is excellent and there’s a ton of flavour! Will definitely be going back!
The only negative thing I can think of is that the portions were so big and the food so good, we didn’t have enough room left over to try the tempura banana 😉

Went to Genki after hearing about their new reopening and was blown away by the look of the place. The food was delicious and fresh, I highly recommend the wontons and the angry salmon roll!

Contrary to the other reviews, we had a bad experience here. We ordered two different ramen items. The noodles in both items were soggy and overcooked, and moreover, the first impression we got was that they packaged ramen noodles (like the Nissin brand) from the grocery store. Then there’s the bathroom: disgusting compared to the super-clean dining room, and this was shortly after opening hours. They clearly didn’t clean the bathroom from the day before.
