Went for dinner with my family during a dance competition they took our reservation with haste and were extremely accommodating. The food was top tier for a small place, very fresh fish and a delightful staff as well as almost no wait time for our food. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Lancaster area. They even offered an extra roll on the house. The food was so excellent I didn’t get the chance to photograph it all.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Genki Sushi and Grill. The appetizers of spring rolls and coconut shrimp were excellent! Glad we were just a party of 4, though, because there was only 4 servings per appetizer. Not a big deal, but we ordered hot tea assuming it would come pre-made in a tea pot, but it was just tea bags. I had a problem with the soy sauce and couldn’t use it because it was way too salty! And the others with me agreed, but could tolerate it. I’ve never had soy sauce that tasted like pure salt before! The sushi rolls were great! The rice was cooked perfectly. And the service was fast and attentive. All the staff were very friendly and we left feeling full, calm and happy. Would return if ever back in the area!

We had one of our best NYE parties ever with all the sushi that people could eat. Sean was perfect in helping us get what we wanted, and it was so fresh even the fishermen were impressed. Everyone loved it and several new customers were gained. A no-shrimp platter, a no-carb platter, and an everything else platter all within the budget. Genki proved once again why they are the best sushi in town!

Me and my boyfriend loved EVERYTHING about this place. We are from NJ and we are visiting PA. We saw the reviews for this place so we went, and now we understand why!! Service was so quick, food was out in only a few minutes after we ordered and the service was excellent! The server constantly checked on us, refilled our drinks, and took away dirty plates. Food was also so fresh and delicious. To make everything even better, they also gave us two FREE pieces of sushi to try. Overall, perfect!! Would 1000% recommend to others and I would definitely come back again.

This shop is top 3 all time for me, if not top 2. Quickly seated, exceptionally friendly, fast service, delicious food and very very very reasonable pricing. Their most expensive rolls were less than $12. They cooks charge 18 or more for the quality they produce. I’ve paid twice as much for much lower quality.
I was exceptionally impressed. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I don’t typically give a 5 star review, however there was nothing negative about my dine-in experience. The atmosphere was very clean and modern, if there was a negative about the atmosphere I would say the table felt sticky but I believe it was due to the type of table mixed with whatever cleaner the restaurant uses. We ordered a Pepsi, raspberry tea and a water. As an appetizer we ordered the calamari which came with a sauce that tasted a bit like eel sauce or soy sauce, it was good but I was not fond of the calamari batter I would rate it a 6/10 and may not order it next time. We also ordered the chicken fried rice which had egg, onion and scallions with thinly sliced chunks of chicken. The portion for $14 and change was definitely enough to share between 2 or 3 people. We had leftovers and the leftovers were just as good if not better than when it was served. The Japanese Bagel Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll and Caribbean Roll were the three rolls we ordered and they were delicious, flavorful and well presented. We were also given two pieces of a sushi roll on the house which I thought was very neat! Now for the service, 10/10! Extremely friendly, I couldn’t get over the friendliness of the two male waiters which I wish I had gotten their names! Upon arrival they immediately asked if we needed a high chair for our son, the service was quick with a smile, they gave us a complimentary piece of sushi, always made sure our drinks were full, asked if we needed anything and made sure we were enjoying our meal! I was very impressed with the customer service and because of that alone we would go back! I highly recommend trying this restaurant out!

This is the only sushi place we go!!! The best in Lancaster county! My husband and I go regularly for date nights or just to order take out! We love the friendly atmosphere and kind staff. My favorite is the coconut shrimp for an appetizer, TNT roll, jungle roll & volcano rolls! Everytime we go in they always give us a roll on the house. This is definitely worth the drive, big rolls, amazing prices, & always delicious . 10000/10

Have been going to this restaurant for 8 months, almost every other week. Sushi and sashimi pieces big and thick, good quantity, and fish quality very good and stable. Servers friendly and services are prompt. Owner Sean is low-keyed but very friendly and are willing to cater to customer’s taste and preference. May get complimentary sushi if become a regular. Their lunch special is unbeatable in terms of price and value so is a must try. Our most favorable sushi/sashimi restaurant in this area.
Update: Quality and service still good. Still our favorite Japanese restaurant in this area. The Lunch Special including Saturday so it’s a super deal for the weekend.

This place is awesome and the staff goes above and beyond to give you great food and excellent service. My husband and I have been coming here since it opened and we’ve NEVER had a bad or “subpar” experience.
