I really miss the actual Genji’s restaurant. The experience of being around a table watching a trained Japanese chef prepare your meal was amazing! Covid slowed or shut down many restaurants. They started the Genjigo’s & were instantly very popular. The food & service are still exceptional. It’s the atmosphere & the experience that are very different. The to go pricing is close to the cost of the sit down Gentian meal. Nothing like watching your meal being prepared in front of you & being entertained while you watch. I miss seeing the onion volcano, gorgeous pineapple desert for birthdays, how the rice/meat/veggies are being chopped, flipped, & fun trying to catch a shrimp the chef tosses at you…all great memories of Genuine. Genjigo serves the same fresh & high quality meats & thee best yum yum sauce… ever! Highly recommended the steak & chicken combo with double fried rice. That’s one huge plate & an amazing meal that usually gives me enough food for 2-3 meals. Priced perfectly for the high quality & standards.

I love the art theme of Manga/Anime style on the walls. The food was served fast and you get a big portion so I recommend sharing if you’re not a big eater. The star of the show was the Ginger Lemonade it was so good I was drinking it more than eating my food and then mixed the sweet tea with the lemonade and it was a 10. I wish this wasn’t so far from me because I’d stop by just for some rice and lemonade all the time

No chicken or steak in my chicken and steak bowl. I mean they ended up giving me a refund but they were clearly not happy about it. Not one single person that they passed the phone off to apologized for not putting ANY steak or chicken in my steak and chicken bowl or for the inconvenience they caused by not being able to perform their job correctly. Just “hold on” then a new person is on the phone then she just says “hold on” “okay proceed your return” and hangs up. Another reason I cannot stand the east side.

I’ve been to this location a few times and the food as well as customer service are consistent. I’m old school and remember the location on Brice and how delicious the food was. To go doesn’t give you the experience but the food is just as good. For the price you can eat half now and the rest later. Definitely enough to keep you full the entire day.

This was my first time here but they forgot my shrimp on my son’s food so I went back an asked an the cashier an the guy who cooked kind of fussed about it for a second then we waited for them to make more shrimp so I could add it to my son’s bowl an he was incredible sick an throwing all night up after eating the food all night so we definitely won’t be back my son was the only was who got sick so I can’t help but think the shrimp wasn’t cooked all the way

STANK!!! Smelled like a sewer! Good thing we ordered takeout. No hair nets in sight! Cashier was polite and knowledgeable about the menu, but like an AI…given instructions, your request might not match your anticipated results. We ordered 3 identical bowls but afterwards I asked for 1 to have veggies on the side. I dropped off my daughter who loves veggies on the east side with a bowl. Why when I get to the west side I have a bag with two bowls with all veggies AND veggies on the side??? Poor thing had to eat her double fried rice and triple meet bowl with a single stray bean sprout. If the place hadn’t smelled so god awful, we might have considered checking our order! I miss the sit-down Genji’s and the amazing dining experience. Better than Benni’s hands down. Their Yum-Yum is not as good as it used to be but still the best in town.

This is your typical McDonald’s cardboard type of food, not that I didn’t expect that, but what I didn’t expect was after placing my order (to go) I was asked to leave a tip. I chose not to leave a tip and the lady announced to all of her workers “no tip” what am I tipping you for you didn’t bring a drink to my house and ask me how the food was, you didn’t deliver the food, you simply prepped it and served it, I don’t tip at McDonald’s and I’m certainly not going to tip here. When I arrived home with my order I find out that it isn’t even the correct order, it was someone else’s, food went into the trash we went somewhere else. When I don’t get what I pay for I will no longer go to your establishment. Money talks. This place can take walk.

Excellent service except the hot soda pop. No ice do to covid 19 virus. If they knew this they should’ve placed soda pop in cooler. The food was delicious, and the store was clean . The parking lot was clean too.

Used to go to other locations over this location. Now I only go to this location, definitely way better than it used to be. Fresh chicken and fresh veggies everytime I’ve been lately soooo good! Main street location is the best. Friendly workers as well, shout out to Mookie ( the manager ) her locations are always on point!
