Excellent fresh poke bowls and ramen. The fish used is delicious. The portions are perfect. Whether grabbing a quick bite at their sushi bar or taking out, I highly recommend Gengi- you won’t be disappointed, and the staff is very accommodating and cordial.

FRESH sushi poke bowls and ramen dishes on a limited menu are fabulous. The quality of the sushi is exceptional, as are the portions. The service is wonderful and accommodating. Located in Whole Foods on the perimeter between the exterior walls and check-out registers, this is a wonderful option and addition to an already top notch source of quality food!

The bubble tea was good but the ramen was spicy (although the one I ordered was not labeled spicy) and very expensive for what it was. The will not get this again.

Update: It’s been a while so I decided to try it again. This time I had a tuna poke bowl. It was alright for the price ($10) but nothing special. The sauce was on the side and I tasted it but it was still a little spicy for me. However, I am sensitive to spice so most people will probably find it fine.

I got really excited when I saw they had yuzu ramen. The best ramens I’ve had (in Nyc and Tokyo) were with yuzu. But this is hot garbage for premium prices. No yuzu flavor at all and just lettuce for toppings. Basically half a step above instant ramen. AVOID.
