So I asked for rice instead of noodles they said sorry we charge for rice I said ok how about no noodles they said same charge and guess what that little side of rice is $3.23! NEVERMIND, guys bring your own rice or go next door to Panda Express to get it cheaper, they need management and o teach the staff better customer service, not worth it, service makes a difference and you won’t get it here. So ended up getting this plate on the pic and now I just lost my appetite… ‍♀️

Amazing but I tried ordering through their online system and it was not ready by the allotted time. I have a set time for lunch and it cut into my lunch time. Otherwise there is no reason to order online when you still have to wait. They did not see my order and had to make it for me when I got there. It’s super disappointing but the food is always great but burning hot so I had to wait an additional time and couldn’t enjoy my food during my times lunch break. They also got my order wrong so I ended up unable to eat it and asked for a refund. They were also unable to give me a refund because it was through their online ordering system so they said I had to call door dash. They offered to remake it for me but because I had to go to work I was out of time. They offered to bring it to me in the mall but I was already over it. Do not use the online ordering system! The manager was nice after I told him it was not through DoorDash and offered me a refund but I think the refund went through a moment later once I put a negative review about the online system .

Build your own bowl of meat and vegetables, then the chefs take your bowl and cook it in front of you on that large round griddle. The noodles are very good, and your ingredients are good quality and large variety. The flavor comes from the sauce that they put on which is a weak point. Some more variety of sauces would be great.

Brea Mall food court location. Horrible customer service from the males they employ at this establishment. They lack basic respect and communication skills. Is there even any training on how to respect a customer? At the very least interact with customers professionally? They probably get away with it with no repercussions nor accountability. That’s why they’re so comfortable to display their disgusting behavior towards customers due to no repercussions from management. The food is good but most definitely will not spend another dollar here due to the crappy employees they have working here.
I will be reaching out to corporate regarding this issue.

Genius Khan has always been one of my favorite Mongolian places, I hardly ever get disappointed when I come to any of their locations. I came to la brea mall location, all employees were extremely polite and fast, generous with noodles. Food was cooked well it was my first time getting the bowl along with rice and the soup actually shocked me it was not bad at all.

The cooks are rude, lack any etiquette, don’t know how to communicate properly and are sloppy. On top of that the owner doesn’t call back regarding customer complaints. Which leads me to believe the owner doesn’t care and condones this type of foolish behavior. When asking the “cooks” their name they say “they don’t have a name”. Interesting seems like there’s something illegal going on here. You mistreat customers and when asked your name to make a formal complaint you refuse to give your name saying you “don’t know it”. These are the kind of people the owner is “hiring”. There should be an audit/investigation of this whole place, investigate the owner and the employees they have “working” there..

One thing I appreciate is the ability to create my own meal according to my preferences.

The sauce at Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ is undeniably tasty. When I request extra sauce, the servers are usually accommodating and provide a decent portion. It adds a flavorful touch to the meal.

Whenever I have a craving for comfort food, it is a reliable option. It’s a staple in the mall food court scene, and it does a decent job of satisfying those cravings.
If you’re in need of a customizable meal in a casual setting, Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ might just fit the bill.

After putting the meat and vegetables into the bowl as much as possible, the noodles and the salty sauce taste good. I also like that the employees seem to have fun working.
