it tastes like water there’s no seasoning, they used water on the grill instead of oil, and all the seasonings were watered down so much it tastes like nothing. The soup and sesame bread was very good, but food from the grill was horrible, they give you plain white rice and would not fry it on the grill, so silly the last picture is the last when I left. I barely eat any of the bowl, I went back up there and put some more sauce on it but the sauce does not taste like anything either. I ate the bread and some of the egg drop soup and I asked for it to go back and he said no, no to go boxes, come on does this place deserver to be in business?

My family has been coming to the place for years, and even after months of not coming the servers still know our order. The food is great – you make your bowl yourself, so it’s great for picky eaters (such as myself). I come here every year for my birthday, and it’s worth the 45 minute drive.

It’s an experience unlike other restaurants. You get to choose what you want and they kind of roll grill your food in front of you and put it back in the bowl, very interesting experience.
It’s delicious everytime, not super expensive for the quality of food you get either. You can make it taste basically whatever you want it to be like
Highly recommend as a once a month or so kind of spot

Pretty busy for Valentines Day. Our first time visiting the restaurant and glad we visited before 4pm. The selections were great and the staff constantly replenished popular items. However, not as timely with the snow crabs and quantities. I recommend doing a test drive before dinner hours, it seems to be more reasonably priced.

Terrific place.
Everything was a tad salty despite me having a salty palate. Otherwise, good was great. Egg drop soup to start (also salty), with some sesame bread.
Good selection of veggies and proteins.
Service was prompt and friendly.
You should go here. You want to go here.

This place is amazing. We used to live down the street from here and miss it so much we sometimes drive hours just to have it when we come visit Virginia. It’s one of the few places that has stayed the same for all the years we’ve been going. And a place we have not found a replacement for in any state we’ve been in. Definitely recommend. And try tearing the top off and filling a sesame bread with your hibachi, you will not be disappointed! Wouldn’t change a thing.

So…been decades since I’ve visited this Mongolian BBQ location. Let me be Frank, the location shows its age, the selection of items to grill was small. The items available appeared fresh, for what that’s worth. The cost would be standard for this type of restaurant, but we left disappointed. We even needed to get out own drinks. This place really needs a overhaul and more items on the bar. Try another Mongolian location for comparison.

Not as many options as bd’s but still a decent assortment of ingredients to make your own unique meal “grilled” in front of you. The hot and sour soup (extra charge) was excellent and the complimentary sesame rolls were very good. Very clean and service excellent.
