What a great way to pass the time waiting for your show to start at the Peace Center! Staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried. Beautiful view of the river walk area of downtown. Lovely selection of brunch items & full bar. We had to show our tickets for our show to enter the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

It was my only night in the city this Christmas season, and let me tell you I made the right choice. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE there at Genevieve’s was as kind and attentive as I could ever hope for! I absolutely felt like a special guest there because of everyone in that restaurant. I also asked if the bartender could make me a “Christmas mocktail” and got an absolutely delicious lychee/vanilla drink. Wow. The drink was the star of that meal. The ambience , high ceilings/ light glittering across the lake was pretty unmatchable and the convenience of being next to the theatre made the night very stress free. But, honestly, it was the people who worked there who made my night so lovely. What an magical place to start your Theatre night. So dear reader go if you want to begin (or prolonge) your festivities, go if you don’t want to feel rushed and just want slowly savor your meal (they keep track for you and make sure you get out in time ) and go because of the phenomenonal staff and people <3
P.s. sadly I couldn’t try the desserts because I was alreasy too stuffed but they looked really tasty

It used to be good, but now not so much. I had a really cold (as in just taken out of the fridge) chicken salad sandwich on stale bread today. It was pretty bad. Drinks were good, and our service was good, but several people waited a really long time to be served, food never came, and they had to leave because the show was about to start. That sounds kind of small town – not the restaurant that serves lunch before a Broadway play! Come on Peace Center – get it together!

Pre concert dinner, drinks and dessert. Very convenient—inside the Peace Center—and steps to your seat.

A good restaurant to have a before the show meal. Our first time there, the hostess welcomed us, and what to expect during intermission (our same table and our pre-ordered coffee and dessert waiting for us awesome). However the person taking care of our table was not engaging and did not check on us during our meal. We had Salmon and Chicken (okay could be better). During the intermission we had coffee and chocolate cake. The coffee was terrible (taste like water worst than Dunkin coffee). Overall good looking restaurant, hostess meet and greet a plus, food average, coffee terrible.

I love the convenience of being at the theatre before a show! The service can be a little slow/bottlenecked, but usually we can avoid this by cashing out after our food arrives.
The menu changes frequently, which is fun, but also frustrating that they don’t have it posted or sent with your reservation.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Our experience was amazing from start (placing the reservation with the wonderful and very kind Theresa) to finish.
Our server, Hannah did an excellent job not only serving our meal, but also with making suggestions and being attentive to whatever we needed. The food was amazing. We had the Charcuterie Board to start with and then had the Lobster Roll and the Beef Skewers. Everything was delicious!
I love that once you have your table before the show, you also have it during intermission. We had coffee, drinks (my Old-Fashioned was perfect!) and desserts waiting for us to enjoy during intermission. The Chocolate Layer Cake was DIVINE!

The food is really not palatable anymore. It clearly is precooked and warmed in a microwave just prior to serving. As a result, it is overcooked and not worth the effort. The venue is charming. If you’re content to have a glass of wine or maybe a salad, you might be happy. If you’re looking for a decent meal, this is not the place to come.

We went after the Peace Center’s 2025-2026 Broadway series lineup announcement. Always enjoy the atmosphere, soaring ceilings and floor to ceiling windows looking over the Reedy River. The wall doors were open since the evening temperature was perfect. This visit we had the Peace Center snacks provided. Genevieve’s always has a good wine selection.

What a great idea for there to be a restaurant to be in the theater. Shrimp and grits and themed drink for the wiz with pomegranate was excellent. They get you in and out for the show. They’re flexible when travelers have delays. They messed up my drink order at first, but besides that, everything was great. You can come back to your table for a drink and dessert during intermission. Love this!!!
