I was really hoping this place would be better than what it was. The tacos were not good or edible. I either went on a bad day or that’s how their food is. The tacos Had the texture of a staled tortilla. The meat was unseasoned and fairly overpriced. I originally went for a dessert, but they ran out of their highlighted dessert which were churros. I settled for the tacos, but I should’ve known when I saw the tacos just sitting on the grill kind of dried out. Very unfortunate for a place with great potential.

Delicious takeout that is fresh ingredients & they work hard getting up super early at 2-3 in the morning to prep to make us these delicious authentic food! Everything that we had was amazing, including the service. Very kind. Horchata was a bonus! I definitely recommend & hope that they stay around! Can’t wait to go back!

They have a great variety of Mexican street foods, decent prices for each items. Unfortunately, they were out of few ingredients for what I wanted to order. I ended up ordering the Mexican hotdog and Elote. However, for the Elote, they forgot the lime which one of the key ingredient.

I tried to get food on Tuesday, but no one was there. I showed up before their posted closing time but they must have closed early. I went today and there was no tamales ready. They would not be ready for another 30-60 minutes. The guy tried to sell me three tacos and a horchata for $20?! I couldn’t believe the price. I ended up paying $10 for 2 mediocre tacos. One taco the meat was almost all fat. The other was fine. I don’t think it’s a good value at all…

Easily the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in years… no, decades! And I’ve eaten Mexican food all over the southwest and Mexico for many years. I never would have expected a small food truck type place to make such exceptional food! But they really need to open a restaurant, even if it’s very small. That little place doesn’t do them justice, nor attract as many people as they deserve. The food is a little more pricey than I’d expect, and the owner pushes a little too hard for you to buy more than you need. But it’s worth it if you like genuine Mexican food. But if you only like Taco Bell, you really shouldn’t bother. I like Taco Bell occasionally myself, but the food doesn’t even begin to compare.

Tacos are vegetarian and delicious! We also had the churros (amazing), tejuino (great if you like fermented drinks), and shaved ice! Great family owned business that we enjoyed supporting. Authentic and interesting food, and since it was our first time they were nice enough to give us a free watermelon drink! Will def return whenever we pass through Ellensburg!

If you haven’t been to Genesis you’re doing it wrong. These guys are so sweet and they make amazing and super reasonably priced food! 4 delicious veggie tacos for $5!! And their tamales are incredible. This will be my regular spot for a cheap, quick, and tasty meal.

I cannot recommend this place enough. The owners are amazingly sweet and make each customer feel special. And the food is PHENOMENAL! I’ve tried three different kinds of tamales, their fruit cup, elote, and corn cup and they were all delicious 🙂 Cant wait to go back and try some new stuff!
