Went there for the first time today. It was very rustic and quaint. The food was very good. But the server was very good at what she does. We love the name. Since we got married at the hitching post in Coeur d’Alene Idaho 30 years ago. Love a the John Wayne photos.

Paige the waitress recommended chicken fried steak omlette with cheese and gravy. Indulgence and deliciousness guaranteed. I managed 1/3 of the omlette…. pancakes were delectable, even better than they looked!
I could not have had a better breakfast! My companion had a bacon cheeseburger which he enjoyed and hot chocolate with what tasted to me like very fresh whipped cream.

Place filled with elderly locals. Staff are kind and know most patrons by name. Slow response time when busy for sure. Had to request my menu. Food here is excellent though and order was prompt, even while busy. I’d eat here again, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way for it.

The family ate here for the first time yesterday. We thought everyone was very friendly and the service was great. I did unfortunately get the wrong omelette but enjoyed it nonetheless. We really like the atmosphere and prices.

This is an ideal place for breakfast before hiking the trails along Molalla River and the GC16 geocache. Portion size is huge, but you’ll need those carbs to fuel your hike.

I’ve been eating here for years but, the waitress want having a good day! Plus my son & I were the last there so, she didn’t give him a cup of coffee, even though he asked for one. I LOVE THIS PLACE but my son is from Vancouver & probably won’t go back. Our service was a lot to desire but maybe we caught the waitress on a bad day!
