The Harrer Family
I came here for a quiet meal, not realizing it has a bar atmosphere. In spite of that, the food was fantastic and the hostess found me a quieter place to sit and enjoy my meal. Highly recommended!

Great breakfast menu, but 5 star review was more so for how they accommodated our large group with a size le amount of kids. The hostess found a place tucked in a corner that also allowed us to view the gold medal game. The owner stopped by several times to check on us. The waitress was exceptional given how busy the bar was for the game. All in all we will stop by here again if we are back in the area. Thank you.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but you will be pleasantly surprised when you step in to the spacious
Dining and bar area.

Definitely worth passing up the usual chain restaurants at the I-70 exits and taking a couple of minutes to get to Generations. Extensive menu with many gluten-free choices. We enjoyed the French onion soup and traditional pierogies (not GF) and the taco salad (GF). Coffee was great and was able to get a to-go cup to take some on the road. Owner was on premises checking up on diners’ experiences.

Busy Saturday night. We had a group of 15. The staff handled it without a problem. Kind and courteous.

It was our server’s first night out of training, and she did phenomenal. This came out in conversation and we were happy to be able to build her up. She was personable, thorough, and attentive. The menu had changed some since the last time we were there, and everything sounded appetizing. We usually love the Buffalo chicken dip here, but tonight it was lukewarm. There was an abundance of pita bread, which was a pleasant surprise. My husband enjoyed the flavor of his burger. The WV dogs were a miss. They were overally wet, and I needed a knife and fork to eat them. I’ve had them in the past and really enjoyed them. The salad was fresh and plentiful.

Today I laid my father to rest, and following the funeral we hosted a luncheon for our family and friends. We are so appreciative of how easy Mike was to work with and how kind and compassionate he was during such a difficult time. Even though we arrived earlier than planned, we were still welcomed into the room without issue, and the food was absolutely amazing. After such an exhausting and stressful week, it was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal together. Thank you to Mike and the two girls who took such great care of us.

The food was excellent! Staff were so helpful and accommodating! They certainly go above and beyond to make your event special. Our only complaint was that the chairs are overdue for an upgrade.

I love generations! They have such good food and such nice staff! However this morning my friend and I went to gens for breakfast after completing our 5th final of the week. The waitress seemed a little off but once we ordered, she judged how much food we had gotten (I voiced that I was taking part of mine home for a study snack) then when she asked if we had wanted boxes and we said yes, she replied back with “well I figured” which is usually not upsetting to me but she had been awkward the whole time leading up. We also got our checks 3 bites into our food. I have been to gens muiltple times and I love it everytime. It’s peaceful, the staff is sweet and the food is great. This one time just stood out to us since it was just 9:30 in the morning so her shift should have just started. She seemed to be nicer after we paid and (tipped 20% still)
