This was my first time at Generations Grill and Sports Bar and it won’t be my last. This is a great place to hang out with friends or for a date night. They have darts, pool, mega touch, and a shuttle board. They also have plenty of TVs to watch all your favorite sports on. Generations is a true Richmond gem.

I went to Generations Grill and Sports Bar when my normal Friday night activity was not taking place. I went for supper and stayed for a show. I ordered the Patty Melt and Onion Rings and Coke Zero. It was delicious ! The sandwich and onion rings were hot and excellent. The band playing for the show was the Sean Lamb Janet Miller Band. They were okay, but I wished they would play songs that would pick it up some. The music was acoustic. There was no place to dance, but one member of the audience got up and danced. I am willing to give the band a second chance when they play at another location next week. Obviously, they must have different bands that play each time, just like my singles group at the Moose Lodge. The food is worth trying, and the bands vary each time they have a band.

The seafood pizza was delish. Meatball sandwich special was ok for $8.49. No salt on the shoe string fries otherwise they would have been 10/10.

The ladies running the front are always so nice and helpful. Great attitudes and kind hearts.
Amazing steaks, the salad always hits the spot and the brownie with ice cream for dessert so yum.
This place is a must to go.
Relax, watch your game, eat some amazing food and don’t forget to tip these wonderful people serving you. Without them we wouldn’t have such a great place to enjoy. ☀️God bless.

Food was great, bar tender was excellent, but making your employees work in a kitchen and bar without airconditioning during the hottest time of the year is extremely cruel. The owner needs to do better.

Stopped in for lunch with a few friends. The waitress was friendly but claimed everyone has called in to work. She said that our food may take a little while since there was only one cook and he had only been there for four days. While we waited for our food we watched some game on tv to pass the time. Little did we know that it would take over two hours for a couple of hamburgers and other simple menu items. The reason apparently is they were having trouble finding the right ingredients to make our sandwiches. Red flag to get up and walk out right there, however, we stayed because we were assured that our food would be made fresh. Once we got back to work, some of the guys started getting sick. Will never go back there again. I’m sure right now you could drive by and see the cooks sitting out back smoking or whatever they do by the trash cans. It used to be a really good establishment.

Drinks tastes watered down. Everything on the menu is think is frozen. Terrible food. Place smells like a whiskey still. Don’t waste your time.
