A restaurant that just serves breakfast and lunch at OC prices. Food and service were good but there was no private dining.

We ate breakfast here and we have zero complaints about the restaurant, staff or food. I ate the Seafood Omlette which was loaded with crab meat, shrimp and scallops. Wife got the House specialty creamed Chipped Beef. Very delicious food and nice portions. I believe Millie was our servers name. Very attentive and nice

Nice diner. They have a dedication to those who have served and first responders. They get a discount I believe. Food was adequate, portions were fine. Very fast and attentive service. We were there a bit after 11am for breakfast. Scrapple was interesting as it had a sage presence. I liked it. Hash browns were a little dry, probably on the griddle a while, and seemed to have no seasonings. Wife had creamed dried beef and said it was wonderful. Coffee was really good too. Although we are still in the midst of covid, it has been a long time since I had to use ketchup, and salt and pepper packets. Prices were not terrible considering where you are. I give three stars for places that I like but do not make the “I’ve got to come back here” impression.

The house special was incredible. The gravy and and hash brown was good, but the biscuit was the star of the dish. I ordered an extra egg sunny side up and mixed it to create a heavenly flavor. I would definitely recommend it. The french toast was fluffy and not heavy or rich.

Any place that serves creamed chip beef gets a five star in my book. As for their coffee it is literally the worst cup of coffee I have ever had. I drink it black and it was so bad I tried adding cream and sugar to no avail. Trust me you have to try this coffee so you can honestly tell your friends how bad coffee can actually get. As for the atmosphere there is none. This place used to be a nightclub I think and they just moved the diner in there. The vents on the walls need cleaned and they haven’t even removed some of the wall hanging hooks from the previous nightclub. If you can call military baseball caps and police arm patches ambiance then this is your place. Did I mention they have great creamed chipped beef or biscuits?

My breakfast was very good. Four in our party. One of us can not have eggs. Should have two menus. Only breakfast foods until 11. Can not get country fried steak, or grill cheese, or hamburger before. My sister does not like breakfast. Sister in law can have eggs. We asked no exceptions before 11. It was 10:30. Menus on our table couldn’t fit under the glass. So they said they stay on the table. They were dirty. I love breakfast, no problem with breakfast foods. I enjoyed mine very much. Breakfast anytime so my suggestion if you have a mixed party like we did go after 11. Thats what we said next trip.

Ate at Generals Kitchen this morning.
No waiting, our waitress was very attentive ( didn’t even need her pad when taking our orders ), and the food was delicious!
I was born and raised in New York State and appreciated the memories of 9/11 and the tribute on the walls to those who lost their life helping to serve others.
I would definitely recommend Generals Kitchen if you are in Ocean City Maryland!

Although they have changed locations numerous years ago, this is still an awesome family tradition. The service is awesome and the food was like it was when I was a kid. Pancakes eggs and sausage, reasonably priced and well worth the wait if there is a line. I was so glad to be able to share this family tradition from my parents to my new family! Extremely impressed by their support as always for first responders. We appreciate their service and their dedication and we truly appreciate the Generals Kitchen!

Paid $15+ for a small scoop of lukewarm, flavorless gravy with a tiny amount of beef, served on ONE BISCUIT CUT IN HALF and tiny bowl (3oz if that?) of lumpy cold grits!!
Subpar, overpriced, and a huge waste of money. Greasy spoon quality food at brunch prices. Nobody’s meals look appetizing at our table.
Service was lacking. Kept forgetting refills and food items in our order. $3.50/$4 for Sysco industrial quality watery stale coffee and charge for refills on most drinks.
ONE SMALL BISCUIT CUT IN HALF! This place used to give twice if not more food for less. Left still hungry! For the price you could get more food and better quality at Waffl House or Dennys
