Table of 4- we asked to have separate checks.
We were seated up front by the check out. Was very noisy so can’t speak for the main dining room on this friday night.
Service was slow. At one point I got up to ask the receptionist for refills.
Apps were good – crab dip & egg plant sticks. Once we got our dinner. 1 dish was so hot the person burnt there mouth, 1 dish was just barley warm. The other 2 dishes were just ok. We ordered a whole muffuletta to go, we asked for it to be cold so we can heat it up the next night. Omg we opened our bag with the 2 halves wrapped in plastic and there is NO meat on this thing. Terrible pic will be attached. Keeping the same prices maybe but skimping on the amount of meat a muffuletta is supposed to have. Now onto the checks. Again 4 of us separate checks. The other couples bill was like $68.00 and ours was $123. The suggested tip was the same amount on both checks as if it were a whole bill. Pay attention to the tip percentage if separate checks at the same table. I handed the server all cash for 1 bill and he came back to say I shorted him $5.00. I said I gave you the cash price. The difference of $5.00 was for the cc fee. He said oh I didn’t notice the different prices on check.
Enjoyable experience. The waiter was knowledgeable and recommended a very nice wine that went well with the crab cake meal. As we were there on a Sunday night, we even got to enjoy the live music. Definitely added to the experience and well done both in technique, song choices, and especially volume for the space.
The crab cakes were phenomenal and very well enjoyed. Wanted to try lasagna, but they were already out. Decided on my second choice, angel hair pasta and meatballs, and they did not disappoint. The the meatballs are HUGE!
Again, wish I lived closer that I could come back and try more of the menu.
Looking forward to our next visit
The atmosphere is amazing as well. There’s a covered and enclosed patio with air conditioning where we sat. It was date night, and the location made it a perfect night.
RUN, don’t walk, here. I highly recommend this place.
