This place is pretty busy, We came a with group of friends and luckily we had reservations otherwise the wait time may have been long.
The servers were kind and friendly, they changed our grill I felt pretty consistently considering how active it was for the weekend.
It only seemed like we kept having to waive down our server for more rounds and refills, again considering how active the place was they seemed pretty busy. The food was pretty good, we had the premium and the slices are pretty thin which is why we kept asking for more rounds. Our experience overall was ok.

This was a very unpleasant experience due to serious cleanliness issues. We were given two dirty cups in a row — one with a lipstick mark and another that was greasy. The floor was dirty, the seating area was not clean, and the table had clearly not been wiped. This raised real concerns about hygiene and food safety. For a restaurant, this is unacceptable. Would not recommend.

It was the first time for us in this place. We went there for lunch. I had a good experience. The resturant was clean with different kinds of meats and spices. Their service was fast. They bring a bowl of rice when you arrive there and ask your order. The drink is not a part of all you can eat and you have to pay it separately. Each drink $ 3-4 in a very large glass. Overall a good experience, i recommend the resturant. We liked well done meat, the chiken took more time to get well down. The meat was faster to get ready on the stove . We ordered spicy and not spicy chicken, brisket, stake, and a thin layer of meat that I have forgotten its name. They have shrimps and other kinds of sea food , but we didnt ordered them.

Despite the long wait of 2+ hours on Valentine’s day, and the service had not disappointed. Our server Mary was vigilant, kind, and was very pleasant to talk to! She always made sure to put our order in ASAP and changed our grill without us needing to tell her. Definitely made the wait worth it and our Valentine’s date a great one. We’ll be returning soon!

Was surprised they could kept good service times for food. They don’t have the screens to order food, so you wait in the waiters, but still not bad service times at all. They don’t have a traditional sauce bar, but they have a list and will also bring all of those out at your choice. All and all , da decent Korean BBQ.

I came in here with my friends to have some food since we had just arrived from Illinois, and were craving some Korean bbq since we’ve never had it before. The food was good I’m not going to lie about that, but we had a younger waitress and she was not friendly at all. We would be making our choices and since it was our first time being in a establishment like this, we thought they would be a little considerate and helpful but instead she was just telling us “Okay and?” With attitude and just rolling her eyes when we would take our time. Like I said, I expected a little patience towards newbies but all we got was rudeness and made us feel like we didn’t belong there. For sure has to work on better service, other than food was good. Also, the manager was really friendly that was the only upside.

The service is too slow, we left not because we are full, just tired of waiting. The food is decent, if you don’t mind sitting there like forever for the food. The music is too loud. It almost feel like they don’t want you eat much in this all you eat place.

I am a frequent when I come into the bay area from out of town to this GEN restaurant in Concord. It has always been pleasant. The service has always been good, but I haven’t been hearing in about six or seven months. Today I went in it was not that busy and although it’s December 31, they are treating today as a holiday and charging dinner prices at lunch. The biggest thing that was disappointing was a time in which food and appetizers came out. I sat down and it took about eight minutes before I was grieved by a server, I placed my order and I got my main course meat first and then 10 minutes later, I got my appetizers. When I asked for a refill, it was about 10-15 Minutes and I just decided to leave. When I pay for my meal, I asked to speak to a manager who was not available, and I spoke to an assistant. I explained the situation and she apologized and said that they try to tell the managers about the problems of wait times, but there does not seem To ever be a fix or a resolution. She said the managers are aware, but they don’t care It’s not a good feeling when I left As this was my first bad experience at this place, I will come back and give it another try but be aware that things have changed

Our server and food was great, the only problem was the hostess who seated us. There was plenty of available seating by the window and other booths along the sides. When we were seated in the middle, I asked if we could sit at one of their side booths. I was told by the hostess that those are “low flames”, she did not offer any other suggestions and we left it at that. Well as we were eating there were plenty of couples and families being seated on the sides. I felt uncomfortable sitting in the middle the entire time which is why I asked for a seat change. Your job as a hostess is to seat customers, but also accommodate them.

Worst service I have ever experienced at a KBBQ. They sat us down at 6:45pm we ordered our proteins and appetizers. We got them 20min later. Didn’t even get our full order. We waited a whole hour for a server to come to our table for the second round. This time it was a different server. They told us that the kitchen was backed up. Within a 2hr period we only got two rounds. We decided to leave after our second round took an additional 30 min. We spoke to the manager about it, she didn’t seem to care. We paid $167 for the worst service ever. Never coming back.
