Been coming here for a few years and never fail to disappoint. I know some may say that it is overrated but I personally love the attention they give you and the professionalism they show. Waiting times can vary but be ready to wait between 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on the day of the week/weekend. Price is fair for the amount of meats you get in the 2 hour time period. (LUNCH : $19.95, DINNER : $28.95). Ambience is young and trendy…clean and plenty of parking as well. Definitely a place to come at least once to experience.

A terrific experience for the money. Lunch is about $19, dinner is 30. All you can eat encompasses many different cuts and types of meat. all super high quality! You cook the meat yourself at the table and it is a great fun. Careful to eat in moderation, the food is Terrific and over-eating is a distinct possibility. But extremely worth it!! Haha

This was my wife and I first time to Gen korean BBQ House on the corner of crenshaw and Lomita My son Took me there for Father’s Day dinner. We’ve passed that place many many times but never ate there. The food always smelt really really good. There’s lots of people that go there waiting in line to eat. Take the whole family….. My son also told me there’s one in Fullerton but there’s a 90 Minute limit Whether you’re done or not that’s pretty crazy. So if you’re hungry go enjoy some good food that you have to cook in front of you.

The food was great. Have to say my favorites were the honey chicken and the spicy bulgogi beef. Service was great and the all you can eat left me stuffed!

I had a great experience. I just wish I had known the shrimp was not cleaned beforehand. Everything else was great. The waite staff was on point.

Always have a great time eating here. The service is good and the food is even better! Love the beef bulgogi, Hawaiian steak, short ribs and the beef brisket. Highly recommend asking for salt and oil, as well as hot sauce!

We love Gen! Great all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. Excellent food and great service. Almost everything was delicious. We especially loved the beef bulgogi and the spicy pork riblets. Ironically, the item we didn’t care for happened to be the house specialty, the Gen Premium Steak. It was very very tough; like chewing rubber. Also, come early. They get really busy!

Cheap, fast, and satisfying kbbq. Meat is not top quality but good. Service is fast most of the time. Price is still very good for the amount of food.

Came here on NYE expecting a long line, but were pleasantly surprised when the host’s initial estimate of a 30 minute wait turned into about 30 seconds as our party of 3 was seated nearly right away. Service was prompt and efficient, we were regularly asked if we needed refills on any of the side dishes or more meat. We plowed through over a dozen orders of brisket, pork belly, short plate (beef belly), spicy chicken, popcorn chicken, and sweet and spicy rice cakes. I also added japchae (glass noodles) and a small order of soondobu (soft tofu soup).
