Large place. Service was a little slow but the place was filled. Get your Gen cards at Costco for a cost saving. The 20 dollar up charge for the premium menu isn’t worth it since the regular menu has plenty of selection. We tried it though. The bone in was very nice. You need to pay attention to how long you let the meat cook. You are the chef. A great place for hanging with friends or family probably not for a date night. I say check it out.

Love, loved, loved this place. I enjoy any venue with all you can eat- $29.99 person and it was so worth it. There were 4 adults and 1 child in our group and we had a wonderful experience.

They bring the uncooked items that you select from a vast menu and you cook it yourself on the grill centered on the table. Lots of meat options, not a lot of sides or veggies.

Our server was patient and professional explaining the different options. She was attentive and changed out the grill for a clean grill as needed.

You can upgrade for another $20 for more high-end options like Wagyu beef. The regular menu has many beef and pork options and includes shrimp. You have a vast choice of different flavors and spice levels.

You also have the option for ala carte if you choose not to go with the all you can eat option. I look forward to going back and upgrading to the higher priced menu option.

First and foremost please do yourself and every one else a favor and join the waitlist before you show up. It’s about to be 2026, you don’t just show up and expect to be seated. Ok… meat flavor 7-8/10, kimchi 7/10 wasn’t “fresh” tasting (iykyk), service was 7/10 they might have been short staffed but kept the place moving, waited approx. 7-10 minutes between meat servings and I ordered as we cooked. Atmosphere is 7/10 it’s lively and music isn’t blasting. Here’s the worst part…. This place is terribly under ventilated. They don’t have hoods at each grill and it looks like it’s just a/c being pumped in and smoke not being pumped out. They had the front doors to the restaurant open but that could also be because it’s winter and fresh weather. In any case we walked into a smoke filled restaurant. If you don’t want to smell like a bbq grill when you leave Probably stay away. All in all I recommend if you know the GEN franchise as a trusty source for decent Korean.

Natasha greeted us at the front and got us to a table immediately. (No line) She was friendly and personable.
Our server Josh was great!! Friendly, personable, and very attentive. Made our dining experience wonderful. Hands down would visit again.
For those that enjoy flavored martinis I recommend the Lychee Martini and the Espresso Martini! Very tasty and balanced.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolute Feast at Gen Korean BBQ!
If you are looking for the ultimate dining experience in Las Vegas, Gen Korean BBQ House is a must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere set the stage for an incredible meal.
Why It’s a 5-Star Experience:
* The Food: Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The quality of the meats—especially the Hawaiian steak and the spicy pork bulldog—was top-tier. Every cut was fresh, flavorful, and grilled to perfection right at our table.
* The Service: What truly set this visit apart was the staff. They were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire night. Despite being busy, our server frequently checked in, swapped out our grill plates without us even asking, and offered great recommendations for sauces and pairings.
* The Vibe: The modern decor and upbeat music make it the perfect spot for a fun night out with friends or a high-energy family dinner.

One of the worse service that I’ve had in a while at a restaurant. Server keeps excluding many things that we have ordered. Which means we have to order the same items over and over and over again until it finally comes. We’re beginning to think that this is a business policy that they have implemented to trim food costs for the restaurant. This kind of policy is very frustrating and irritating to the customers. Will probably never come back again. Service was slow and frustrating and it feels like adding a burden when we needed anything at all.

Had a wonderful experience here. Food was delicious. Eating at a regular Korean restaurant would be more expensive than eating here and you get more food for your money.

Food came out at a timely manner as we ordered it. It was the closing crew so we didn’t expect everything to come out lightning fast. Order your food before you finish cooking or you might be waiting for it to come.

Service was great. People were friendly and professional.

Atmosphere was wonderful because we went on a time when it wasn’t too busy.

Overall an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone that loves food for a great price

Horrible service. I came here on a date some time ago and loved this place, so I decided to bring a bigger group of six to celebrate my birthday. There was just one problem: one of our friends is a vegetarian, and after checking the menu, we realized there were only a couple of options for someone who doesn’t eat meat or seafood (corn cheese, mixed vegetables, rice cake and korean pancakes. Not even tofu or anything. Naturally, he wasn’t planning to eat and just wanted to join us, have a couple of beers, and hang out.

We wanted to call ahead to ask if he would still have to pay, since he wouldn’t be eating or participating in the grilling. First of all, we couldn’t even get through on the phone — no one picked up — so we all had to drive there to ask in person.

Secondly, when we arrived, we had to wait for 15 minutes before the host girl finally noticed us and came over, just to bs informed that even though our friend wouldn’t be eating anything (because his options were extremely limited), he would still have to pay the full premium price of $50 just to sit with us. Basically $50 for all you could eat corn and veggies — tell me if it sounds like a reasonable price to you. The host simply refused to work with our situation and basically said that either we all pay, or we all have to leave.

Naturally we took our business elsewhere to a place that was understanding and didn’t charge our friend anything other than the drinks and dessert he ordered.

You ended up losing at least $250 (the $50 for each of the five of us who would have paid), plus whatever we would have spent on cocktails and beers, probably well over $500 all because you wanted to charge someone who wouldn’t be eating an extra $50.

Either offer more vegetarian options or provide a discounted price for guests who can’t eat meat or seafood.

Used to love this place. A lot of things have changed including the professionalism of the staff. Came here with my gf and while I was using the restroom the busser (Javier or Juan) tried asking her for her phone number and social media which made her extremely uncomfortable. The price of the food is high for meat that is mid. Hate that this had to be the last impression we left with.
