Good bagels and monster sandwiches abound. Plan on ordering ahead as I’ve never spent less than 10 minutes waiting for food to be prepared in the tight cramped knit quarters. Solid spot in a bagel desert town but way too small. Why not expand into Anthony’s Pizza? He’s selling the business and the space is for lease.

The biggest problem I have with Gems is when you order a bagel with cream cheese, you will get 737366155336 pounds of cream cheese on your bagel, so you have to ask for VERY VERY little cream cheese. I love the breakfast sandwiches Herr and their coffee is amazing

The only reason I gave one star is because I can’t give any lower. The quality of the bagels have gotten horrible. The customer service sucks. They are incredibly rude. Used to love this place but we can’t stand this place anymore.

Bagels are made on the premises. Customers are real people from the neighborhood. The person taking the order is the same that makes your sandwich and rings the order. I will be back.

I came in for 2 toasted cream cheese bagels and a school special. I repeated it twice. The girl forgot my 2nd bagel, and then proceeded to make other customers food. I was running late and couldn’t wait I just left. But this gems is not the gems I grew up with. My food was not made with love. Probably won’t come in here again

Ran in today to pick up a quick brunch. Ordered the rocket on a roll with scrambled eggs and might I say.. it was absolutely delicious. Really hit the spot! Place is very clean and cute, staff was sweet, and I will be returning when in town 🙂 Their grilled cheeses are also great! Would recommend.

I find the bagels are small but good. They overload with cream cheese, so buy a bagel with nothing on it, and share. The Italian sub was loaded. Although I asked for less ham and more salami, it did register. So I made a ham sandwich the next day. A half of sub is more than enough for 2 people, unless your over 200lbs.
