Not sure if this location is affiliated with the other gems but this one is not it. This “bagel” tasted like rubber and $7.80 for egg avocado seems a bit wild for how bad it tasted. Also took a solid 10 min to the point of where I had to take a seat and I was 1 of 3 people in the store just do better

I went here this morning to get a bagel. The serviced person was nice enough. I gave 1 star because I got a hard stale bagel with MOLD on it. I not only expected a fresh made bagel like every other bagel place in NJ, I would have expected the service person cutting and putting the butter on the bagel would realize there was MOLD on the bagel and not give it to a customer. This is my first time here and my last. Very disappointing. And very disgusting. Maybe the department of Health should check this place out.

We had 4 of us, myself + 3 kids. 2 had the Broadway on everything. Then a rocket on everything, and the other an Italian wrap. Bagels were freshly baked, tasty, and moist. The wrap was delish and fresh. All items prepared and

There is no way this place is rated 4.1. the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly, I cannot wait to go back. We visit south Jersey all the time. Gems is officially going to be a starting point until we make our rounds

This is the third time I’ve been here and the girl that works there is so rude. I always order scrambled eggs
with cheese. Each time it’s this huge deal. The last time I got it but I had to take 10 minutes to explain to the cook what the difference is between that and a cheese omelet. This morning I ordered this again and I didn’t get it again the women behind the counter was so rude and told me I’m wrong that this is scambled eggs and I got so annoyed that she’s arguing with me I said forget it and just left it’s so annoying never again HORRIBLE Customer service

The pork roll sandwiches are fantastic!
However, I could not give them 5 stars because of the amount of cream cheese they put on a bagel!
They put about an entire small tub of cream cheese on one Bagel it is ridiculous!
Edit: I forgot to mention the bagel was super hard too! I’ve never heard of a fresh Bagel being this HARD! It literally cut the roof of my mouth when I bite into it!
See the picture of the amount of cream cheese I was forced to take off because I could not eat it otherwise!

Updated edit – I’ve been coming to gems for years , I know love 3 hours away and find my self once a month maybe , usually the same day , able to be in the area and stop. I just stopped and decided to do my errand early. They aren’t open till 7 but it’s 6:05 , I walked in and asked if they were open , clearly they aren’t . But arriselli still said don’t worry about it and served me an hour almost before they open just so I wouldn’t have to wait an hour when I drive 3 hours home . I love this place , she’s Amazing , just go go go support .
Ariselli I can’t speak more highly of her . (I probably did not spell that correctly) is so wonderful. She is so kind and helpful , she knows the menu well, and has amazing customer service skills , coming from someone whose worked hospitality there whole life , she’s wonderful, the deli is wonderful, can’t rave about this place enough .I always get 2 items today I didn’t have enough and she still surprised me with my second item . They really are so kind
