Food is delicious. We had the molcajete served with handmade corn tortillas. The guacamole is unique and amazing. It is topped with pistachios. The setting is beautiful. We visited on Friday before their official opening. The server was very honest in communicating that they had only been open for two days. Really enjoyed our dinner, drinks and music. We will definitely return after their official opening.

It is a very beautiful and elegant restaurant. The dishes we ordered were delicious, but they did take about 45 minutes to arrive at the table. It is worth noting that the place was full and there were five of us at the table, so this often happens.
The drinks were also delicious. My favorite was the Mezcalita Jamaica and my husband’s Old Fashioned was absolutely perfect (10/10).

Party of 12, the food all came out in different times like 15 to 20 minutes apart, some of it was cold. Birthday girls food was all wrong. What was meant to be a special night turned out bad. Don’t think we will be coming back here. They either need a bigger kitchen or more staff in the kitchen for sure.

We went to GEMA restaurant & Bar for the first time (& last).
Honestly we thought it would be a good experience, but we waited almost an hour for our food, and it arrived at different times for each one of us (party of 3).
When the waitress came to collect payment, she didn’t give me my receipt, only the total, it seemed high to me, but I was already in a hurry to leave, So I just paid, asked for my receipt, and left.
An hour later, I checked my receipt, and noticed they charged me a $16 dish twice. I went back to the restaurant, one of the two waiters immediately approached me, I explained the situation, he asked me if he could refund in cash (instead of the CC), I thought maybe that was faster so I said ‘yes’
then he took out his wallet, took out $16 in cash and gave them to me…
I think the waiters there must do this often and they just split the money between them.

Worst Valentines Dinner.
To start Off, Service Sucks or atleast the young male server we got. Asked for a beer and had to remind him 3 times, on 2 occasions. On the Food they only had a special Valentines menu which didn’t have to much to choose from, my wife asked for the Gema Chicken with Mash potatoes, I got the Pasta Poblana with Asparagus. My wife’s plate came out first and the server told her
I out his Asparagus on your plate ,why ? Why would yall do that and she did get her side of mash potatoes. My plate came out 20 minutes later. I did asked the server l, why it took so long to get my food out, his response was , it takes time to make the pasta, I dont understand, when yall only have like 7 items on the menu for Valentines. Menu says our dinner comes with champagne on arrival. The champagne glasses came out with the first plate. Just to top it off I did pay $15 to reserve the table. Never will we go back to this place. Thats why business break , BAD SERVICE. Train your Team.
