We visit this area at least once a month, known as South Seaville. It is a rural wooded area which is quite pleasant to visit. We have found the inhabitants to be friendly which lends to the pleasantness of our visits. That being said, Gem Grill and Pizzeria is part of this community. The food is delicious and moderately priced. The employees are friendly and willing to engage in pleasant conversation. I learned of this establishment while visiting the South Seaville Community Thrift Store. One of the volunteers at the Thrift suggested Gem as a place to get a good cup of coffee. It turned out to be much more. The food is great. We ordered cheese steaks and they were ready in less than 10 minutes. The use the type of hot peppers that one finds in Philadelphia and I am fond of both the heat and flavor. I will probably order a pizza on my next trip and will update this post.

First time trying Pizza at Gem Pizzeria. He had “ the Gem” and it was delicious! Highly recommend.
The staff is courteous and orders are always on time. Love the app; easy to use and full menu available to review. Makes it tough to decide though. We’re big Gem fans.

This is the best pizza in Ocean view. It’s right down the street from my work at tigon golf carts so I stop by often. Staff is greata nd so is the food.

Ordered 2 pies and they might have been one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The pizza had zero flavor. The crust tasted fake and meatball topping tasted worse. Our elder dog wouldn’t eat the crust we fed her. Just not a good experience.

Different Cheesesteak #867. Very good little stop off the beaten trail. I really like what they are doing at Gem Market. It looks like they recently added a pizza oven in the back of the market. Very good cheesesteak but a little too much oil. The oil helped hold the heat and melt the cheese but it was just a bit messy, greasy messy. Very good cheesesteak.
