Our restaurant journey started in 1978 as local family pizzeria determined to serve the best chicago style Italian cuisine. We only use quality ingrediants, minimally processed foods, and make all of our recipes in house. Our hours are Monday 4:00-9:00pm Tuesday 11:00-1:30pm, 4:00-9:00pm Wednesday CLOSED Thursday 11:00-1:30pm, 4:00-9:00pm Friday 11:00-1:30pm, 4:00-10:00pm Saturday 4:00-10:00pm Sunday 4:00-9:00pm

I’ve been to Macomb many times but never stopped here. I’m so glad I finally did as it did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly even though it was a Saturday night and they were very busy. The clientele seem to be enjoying themselves and the food. My son and I ordered a large hamburger pizza and it was fantastic. Next time I’m in Macomb I will definitely return.

Great food and service every time we visit! Everting on the menu is delicious- you can’t go wrong with anything you choose. The salads are big, the pizzas are always cooked perfectly. The pasta options are really good as well. Gelsosomo’s has a kid’s menu and great specials during the week.

Stopped here after a college graduation. There were ten of us so we ordered 2 pepperoni, 2 cheese, and 2 sausage pizzas. This was the best pizza I had in a long time. The pizza tasted fresh and I couldn’t stop eating it. The sauce was tasty and just the right amount. The pizza was thin crust and I didn’t feel bloated after all the slices I ate. Pizza review, I give it a high 8 to low 9.

I ordered two large pizzas. One topping garlic bread. Four drinks. It came out to $60 plus I left a $10 tip. The pizza was horrible. The toppings were very slim. I’m very disappointed in this pizza place.

Great pizza and service! I sat at the bar and had a delicious WORKS pizza with a draft of a microbrewed beer. Pizza was served piping hot! Also ate a spinach salad that was good. Ambience was nice too. My only recommendation is to have the kitchen cook/chef invest in a bell to ring vs yelling out repeatedly someone’s name. Lol.

If ypu are ever traveling through Macomb IL Gelsosomo’s Pizzeria I reccomend a pit stop. We had a Supreme, Chicken Alfredo, and Margherita. Service was good. Kitchen was fast.

The food is pretty good, my Husband had a pizza and I had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. We also had cheese sticks and cinnamon bread sticks. Our waitress was very nice and attentive! The prices seem a little high.
