Stopped by Glacier Feracci in the old town and left a bit disappointed.
The gelato itself was just okay and was missing depth of flavour. It didn’t taste like top-quality ingredients were used, despite what the staff claimed.
Of course, like many gelato places, they talk up how great the quality is and how they only use the best ingredients, but that doesn’t always match the actual taste.
What really took away from the experience was the tasting policy. They only allowed one sample per person. I could understand that if the place was packed and people were lining up, but it wasn’t busy at all. It felt unnecessarily strict and made the whole experience less enjoyable. I ended up with just two flavors, one I tasted, the other was a complete guess and I didn’t like it.
When it comes to gelato, tasting makes a big difference, especially when there are a lot of options.
I’m love gelato and tried many gelato all over the world to know the difference between truly great and just average. This, unfortunately, leaned toward the latter.
Good location, but overall not a place I’d go out of my way for. There are better options nearby that deliver both on flavor and experience.save the calories.

The old town house this special place with great choices of ice creams, crepes, shakes.
Really enjoyed the chocolate milk shake and sugar crepes. Would recommend trying it.

Great gelato, I loved the flavors yogurt (tastes like greek yogurt in a great way) and cassis and they go great together. I love that they build the two scoop cones so that you get both flavors all the way down!

Gelato was great. Had the kinder and pistachio flavours. Highly recommend the pistachio as it was both of our favorites. Stall owner was really friendly as well and could understand english when we didn’t know how to order the gelato in french. Great experience!
