We are now located inside the bakery (Pasticceria Russo) across the street from our previous location. This new arrangement allows us to be open all year! We are an all-natural gelato shop located in the historic center. We use only fresh fruit bought locally or hand picked by us. Our exotic sorbets, like passion fruit, use fresh-frozen from Brazil. Our pistachio, a must-try, comes from the volcanic soil of Etna in Sicily. We are lower in sugar, using cane where we can, and use fresh local milk and fresh cream for our whipped cream. For summer we have Prosecco, red wine and beer sorbets from local artisans. We often have flavors mixed with rosemary, basil, thyme, ginger… please visit us!

OMG! Don’t remember when I had such delicious ice cream last time The place is not only special for Terence Hill and all the historu; but as well for the mind-blowing ice cream. Pistachio, hazelnut were the best I have ever tried. Figs… beyond the words. We are in May and they froze the fresh figs last year to get aroma, must try! Melon… wow! Cocco fans, you will love as well

I absolutely can not believe that just now, a few minutes ago, I found out that there’s a dream come true opportunity for me to eat gelato at a place of one of my two childhood heroes, Terrence Hill and Bud Spencer. And it’s just two little hours away from where I live since last year, since moving here to Italy from Germany. ❤️ Our holidays in the beginning of September will definitely begin in this beautiful place with a buon gelato in a unique and for me very special place. Really creamy ice cream but sadly with so little flavour I could hardly tell the difference between flavours! If this review was just for the ice-cream it would be 1 out of 5 but the position is nice and the service super friendly, you can also use the tables across the street. But really, you should try to plan on having ice-cream somewhere else!

My family and I stayed in Amelia for several months, and we went to Girotti nearly every day. We received the best treatment from Mario, who my 2 year old daughter adored. Not to mention how delicious the gelato was! So many incredible flavors. Be sure to try the arachide!
