We loved our dinner here! Service was outstanding! Their new guava mezcal cocktail was so delicious. The food was superb. We ordered steak fajitas (not pictured), carnitas, queso fundido with chorizo, and a delicious butter cake with ice cream. We are very happy we came here. Will be back.

Came through to the spot for lunch having been to the other Tempo location, we figured we’d give this one a shot. We really dug the decor inside and had our eyes wandering the entire time inside from when we first stepped foot inside. It has a really cool Mexican/Japanese vibe to it and everything flows together well. The food was a bit on the pricier side for this type of fare, but it was worth it. All the items that were recommended by the waiter and bartender were worth it. The Pulpo was especially yum.

The establishment offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring Japanese-infused Mexican cuisine characterized by its vibrant and robust flavors. Our prearranged reservation ensured prompt seating upon our arrival. The attentive staff provided excellent service, assisting us in selecting our meal. The dishes presented were fresh and exceptionally flavorful. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is notably pleasant and inviting. We anticipate returning for future dining experiences.

I have never been at a restaurant with a fusion of Mexican and Japanese fusion. The decor and the art all over the walls are awesome. Our server Alua was nice, attentive, and helpful. For appetizers we had the queso fundido and the pork belly bites ans they don’t dissapoint. For my drink I had an old fashioned from the happy hour menu. And for dinner, I had the bone-in carnitas chamorro, with tortillas and guacamole. The meat literally fell off the bone and the sauce on top was spicy but full of flavor. I will come back.

Geisha Tempo has opened in Downtown Brea. A fusion of Japanese and Latin flavors. Premium steakhouse cuts, fresh seafood, sushi and unforgettable flavors! Bites of irresistible perfection!!

The decor and murals are gorgeous!! The outside patio is vibrant and fun!! Great place for date night, girls night out and private celebrations!! It has a trendy & lively vibe! They have a full bar, fun cocktails, mocktails and a Tequila Tasting Room. Happy Hour All Day ➡️ Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Wonderful customer service from Ramses Ramirez and Joe!

We tried:
PORK BELLY BITES
SPICY TUNA CRISPY RICE
SASHIMI HAMACHI
GRILLED PINEAPPLE STUFFED WITH SHRIMP, OCTOPUS, AND SCALLOPS
BUTTER CAKE
LYCHEE MARTINI
LA REINA
CUCUMBER MOCKTAIL

It’s an absolute gem in Brea!!

I would like to share my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your Geisha location on Valentine’s Day.
For the past six years, I have been a loyal customer and have regularly taken my wife to your restaurants for special occasions. We have visited multiple locations, including Downey, Brea, Hollywood, and Montebello, and have consistently received quality service, food, and overall experience.
Unfortunately, our visit to the Geisha location was extremely disappointing.
After driving 30 minutes specifically to experience this location, we were not informed until we were already seated that the only dining option available was a $150 per person fixed menu, excluding drinks. This information was not clearly disclosed prior to being seated. Had we been properly informed in advance, we would have reconsidered dining there.
The fixed menu was significantly below the standard of your regular menu offerings. The food quality and selection did not justify the premium price. Additionally, the two mojitos we ordered were watered down and poorly prepared.
Our total bill came to $256 for the fixed menu dinner, two drinks, one sushi roll, and $36 in gratuity. The overall experience did not reflect the value expected from your brand and fell far below the standard we have become accustomed to over the years.
This was meant to be a special Valentine’s celebration, and instead, it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. A total scam!

Absolutely incredible!! Cocktails are carefully crafted, variety of menu items, attentive and friendly staff, plus a cool atmosphere with great music. New date night place!!

We tried several items including the sashimi, king sushi, ribeye tacos with chimichurri, and spicy noodles with shrimp. Everything was delicious!

Cocktails were all EXCEPTIONAL!! I tried the Lychee martini, pogu daiquiri, and carajillo. My husband enjoyed the Mai tai, shizo old fashioned (with grapefruit bitters and Japanese whiskey *chefs kiss*) and original old fashioned.

Amazing service by our server Diego, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent drink and food recommendations! Highly recommend!!

I recently visited Tempo and had a great overall experience. Starting with the food, I tried the ceviche, which had good flavor, though I’ve had slightly fresher versions elsewhere. The guacamole and chips were top. The chips had a flavor of lime and chili. That said, the portion sizes were generous, which made the meal satisfying and well-balanced.

One of the best parts of the visit was taking advantage of their happy hour—they had a solid selection of food and drink options at great prices, making it an excellent value.

Our server, Jasmine, really stood out. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. She also offered thoughtful recommendations, sharing her personal favorites from the menu, which added a nice personal touch to the experience.

The ambiance of Tempo is another highlight. The interior is beautifully designed, with artwork that showcases a unique blend of Japanese and Latin culture, making the space feel both vibrant and inviting.

All in all, Tempo is worth a visit—and I’d definitely go back.

We had been waiting for this spot to open since we heard it was connected to the other Tempo near Brea Mall. I’m pretty sure it is, but this one leans way more into sushi and seafood. Honestly, it feels like there’s a little bit of everything here.

Our family went all in and ordered cheeseburger fries, asada tacos, a sushi roll, plus a margarita and a lychee martini. Safe to say, everyone found something they liked.

The vibe inside is fresh and lively. Everything looks new, clean, and thoughtfully put together. The staff was super friendly and checked on us often without being overbearing.

I’d say this place works whether you’re bringing the family or just grabbing drinks at the bar. Definitely worth checking out.
