Such a sweet mom and pops restaurant tucked away in Athens, Alabama! My waitress was very sweet and friendly! Super fast service as well!
The burger was not my favorite, it tasted like the meat patty was a pre-made/frozen patty. The onion rings are to die for!! Overall this is a decent spot in Athens if you are driving through or a local in town!

Didn’t even know about this place but found it out driving so we stopped in and had their meat and three for the day. It was pretty good. It’s an “out in the country” place for all the workers in the area. My 3 star is not a negative appraisal, rather a comparison to the most luxurious restaurant you might visit. I would recommend Geezburger to anyone.

My husband found this place on TikTok, we drove 45 mins to try it. The service was absolutely horrible. If you’re not a local, you’ll be last to be waited on. We waited 30 mins alone for our drinks, then the 2 tables that came in 15 mins after us got their food before us. We didn’t order much & it was simple stuff. We waited 40 mins on our food. What’s sad is our food was good, but horrible experience all around because of service. We will not be recommending. Maybe this will make yall do things differently. Was a very weird unkind atmosphere.

Visited for the first time a week back. I got the breakfast platter (bologna and sausage), wife got the Geezburger. Also got a biscuit with chocolate gravy. Food was great, service was fine, and the prices are very reasonable. No complaints here. Will be back and will bring friends.

I like this place. ..it usually isn’t crowded inside and the atmosphere is nice and calm. The workers are nice and the food is excellent. I am not a fan of their hours however. It would be nice if they were open in the evenings. They have good burgers and their current hours ..only allow burgers in the afternoon. It’s a burger place and you expect a burger place to be open in the evening..I hardly am able to eat there because they close at 2 pm. Their food is good for supper and that’s a bit early to be eating supper.
Update: The owner responded very quickly. I am pleased with their response. They have to do what they have to do to manage their business. It is sad they didn’t have enough evening business to keep them going in the evenings. I am happy to see they are open until later on Fridays. Google says they close at 2 pm that day too and so I assumed it was correct. They may want to update that with Google. I may even see if I can for them. I will definitely plan to go more often now that I know one day a week they are open until later. I have been craving their food lately too….it may be soon. Thank you to the owner for your response. I went up one more star to 5 stars simply because I agree….you have to do what’s best for your company. I can definitely relate to that. Maybe over time people will realize you are there and your customers will come in the evenings too. I guarantee if you were on 72 that many more people would come … because of the convenience. Then when they see the quality of the food and the nice people working there, they would go often. I do like the homely feeling of the place though. You had to do what your company needed and I appreciate you looking out for your customers. Thank you.

The food here is always fresh and hot. The french fries are the best hands down. The burgers are thick, homemade and delicious

Delicious food at an unbelievably low price! Was there for breakfast and had an amazing omelette. Apparently this is a favorite for local farmers. I’m glad I was told about it! Would definitely recommend.
