Geeks Seafood, Salads & Subs

This is probably the worst fried shrimp I’ve ever had, the clan strips were sufficient & the fries the best part of the entire meal. I had a taste for seafood today but not anymore! I placed an order online for the Fried Oysters & fries & promptly received a call advising that they were out of Oysters but I was okay with that. I was given option to substitute & choose the shrimp. They smell good & look good, great presentation! However, I bit into the first one to discover the entire outer shell was sill in tact underneath the batter/seasoning. I then thought, it’s just a fluke maybe this one was missed. I attempted to continue but they were all the same. I grew tired of having to shell my lunch to eat more specifically because what was underneath had no taste or seasoning because it was on the outer shell! Now I have to decide to call because surely they don’t serve these this way regularly. Although very pleasant, the young man said no one else they ever served these to have complained but he would let his manager know. He also asked was it just the tail & I said no. I’m accustomed to the tail being intact but not the entire outer shell. There was an awkward silence & he said sorry so I thanked him for his time & hung up to write this review. I hope the salads & subs are better than the seafood. I have attached a pic, left side all shells & right… Pretty shrimp that I had to throw away because my appetite was ruined & my money wasted.

Only employee here I’m pretty sure is high and didn’t come out for 5 minutes of me standing here… but I did hear a voice in the back moaning “hello how are you doing” about a half dozen times. Pretty well freaked me out.

I had a to go order and he hadn’t even started it.

Ordered through Uber Eats. I got the grilled mix, which the menu says comes with a lobster tail. It did not arrive with one or the alfredo sauce. The shrimp were chewy, tilapia and scallops were ok. We ordered calamari as well, which did not come but was removed from our Uber Eats bill with no explanation. Doubtful that we’ll try again.

My meal was cooked to order and hot. I enjoyed my shrimp pasta and snowcrab. They were delicious! My friends got the Buffalo wings and fries and the okra and Philly cheese steak sub. It was refreshing to get a fresh meal that had not been sitting out lukewarm like some food places. The restaurant climate was festive and my food came within 15 minutes.
We will definitely come again!

The food was absolutely fantastic! My friends and I stopped over one late night after some fun and ordered a ton of stuff! The tilapia, burger, Gyros and some other things that we ordered were exactly what we needed! If you are nearby, you should definitely give Geeks a try!

Just ordered from Geeks Seafood through Doordash. I got the mixed grill with the 10 shrimp up-cost. The food arrived hot, but it had no sauces (cocktail or alfredo). It also did not have any scallops (supposed to have 4 scallops) and there were no substitutions made. Overall, good, but not great because of the missing items.

I ordered the mixed grill which was supposed to be shrimp, scallops, tilapia and lobster tail. I got eight scallops the size of my thumbnail, no shrimp no lobster tail and everything was burned within an inch of its life I will never order from this place again. Plus they won’t answer their phone. They totally misrepresented their product and this place needs to close. I hate this.

I feel like the reviews on here are fake. They’re all 5 stars and extremely generic. We only went because we had a Groupon.

We tried going twice. Once we arrived an hour after it was supposed to open and they were still closed. The second time we arrived the place looked abandoned. The place was a mess, there was random stuff (old printers, tape dispensers, trash) all over the tables. The lights were off. The tables outside we’re rotting. There was only one guy working who didn’t seem to know how to work the register.

We placed an order to redeem the Groupon. The whole thing creeped us out and we left before picking up the order.

I have no idea how they afford this space in such an expensive part of town with such an establishment.

These reviews could be fake. Purchased a groupon and came by to redeem it during business hours and was closed. Came by a second time and open, but lights weren’t on, atmosphere was very disorderly and unwelcoming. No cook in sight. Not sure how they keep their doors open, but we didn’t even try the food and left.

when i arrived at noon, there was a wet floor sign blocking the entrance. the restaurant was dirty and i was asked to eat outdoors. the food was clearly lefyovers from the night before. the shrimp were hard and the fish was rubbery. i will not waste my time with the overpriced trash again
