Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures and high marks from others.
I tried the crispy wings, Korean bbq wings, ramen and kimchi fried rice and all had cheap ingredients in common.
The price simply does not match the quality of the food, the service, or the atmosphere.
It’s tough to find a Korean restaurant that doesn’t have good food, but this place would be it.

So happy to find this Korean restaurant in Long Beach! The fried chicken is truly amazing! My favorite is the original, but the sweet and spicy is also really good! And the bulgogi had a totally authentic flavor; goes great in the burrito, bowl, and on fries. The workers are also always very friendly. Will definitely be back many times!

The bulgogi bowl was great. The beef was seasoned perfectly. The sweet and spicy chicken wings were incredible. I’ve never had such a thoughtful dining experience… plate for chicken wing bones and gloves for eating them.
And hearing 1980’s and 90’s hiphop took this dining experience to a new level.
Let’s not forget about desert… matcha bun was soooo good! Loved it!

Loved my experience here!! I was looking for a chicken spot near long beach and found this spot that has a great review. And.. it was AMAZING!! The chicken was soft but also crispy and not dry at all. Honestly, my favorite one was honey soy garlic and it was the best honey soy garlic chicken that I’ve ever had in US. It’s authentic and taste similar as the one I enjoyed a lot when I lived in Korea. I’ll definetely come again with my bf whenever I visit long beach. Will be back!!

I was stunned when I took my first bite of the GeeKo Korean Fried Chicken Wings I literally uttered “WOW”. The crispiness is unreal! I ordered the 8 piece and opted to pay an extra $1 to choose two flavors, Crispy Original and Honey Soy Garlic. Glad I did! This was a nice option because I enjoyed both flavors without having to order more than I can eat. I appreciate that the chicken wings were not soaked in sauce. The flavor is permeated throughout the chicken wings and the seasoning was glazed onto the crispy coating so they were not soggy soaked in sauce. There was not one drop of sauce in the box yet the chickens were perfectly moist. That’s my preference! And would be a good picnic item because it’s less messy than your regular KFC. They were tender, hefty sized wings, and the meat fell off the bone. Crispy indeed, without being coated in excessive crunchy batter. The side of cubed radish and ranch dressing was a nice addition to the meal. Being a typical Asian, I paired it with a side of white rice and salad for a balanced meal (good for two servings!). Pro tip: Reheat the wings in an Air fryer at 400 F for two minutes.

The owners are a sweet Korean family (Peter, Angie, Annie and another older gentleman – perhaps Mr. G himself?) who were a joy to meet. They were so excited and gracious to serve a customer at closing time. The restaurant is very spacious with ample seating and the parking lot is huge.

I look forward to returning on Wednesday for their Spaghetti & Meatball special, kimbap and of course more chicken wing flavors (Yuzu).

What a blessing to have delicious fast casual korean food in Signal Hill!

Korean Fried Chicken in Long Beach!

I drive by this place almost every day and I finally decided to come in and check it out. Boy. Have I been missing out.

This is a small family Korean own business. They have a great selection of food, both Korean and American dishes.

I loved their food so much, I actually ate there three days in a row to really try out a plethora of food options.

Day 1: honey soy garlic chicken, lemon pepper chicken, and kimbap. Delicious.
Day 2: Korean sweet and sour chicken, honey soy garlic chicken, kimbap. (Was checking for cooking consistency, delicious)
Day 3: tteokbokki, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, kimbap. Delicious.

The fried chicken is definitely my favorite part. Flavors are on point, good price point, and crispy and lots of meat on the bones. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

The customer service is great. I met Peter, who is the mastermind behind the wing flavors and he’s super nice.

Super excited to have good Korean fried chicken in LB and not have to travel to Buena Park or Fullerton anymore.

Their crispy original chicken is out of this world! Super crispy but also super juicy inside!! The Korean sweet and spicy and honey soy garlic is also amazing. Glad that I tried three different flavors and willing to try more flavors.

Tried the bulgogi gimbap and topokki too
The gimbap had a good balance of vegetables and bulgogi, making it both healthy and delicious. The topokki tasted just like the one I had in Korea when I was young!!!! super chewy rice cake, the sauce is not too spicy and has a perfect amount of sweetness.

I can’t wait to come back and try their different menu!! So happy to see Korean restaurant in Long Beach
