It was very busy on a Friday night but they graciously made room for me even though I hadn’t made a reservation.
I had the best/most authentic tasting ลาบคั่ว I’ve managed to find outside northern Thailand so far, and it was served with veggies and herbs including hard-to-find ผักแพว.

We stumbled upon this little gem. The welcome was friendly and the food came as it became ready. The food was delicious – beware that portions are not small and order wisely. The soup was delicious and you must order the fish cakes! They were the best we tried in Bangkok.

My wife and I had dined at Gedhawa numerous times in the past before and after the restaurant had moved to its present premises in Sukhumvit Soi 33. We enjoyed the Northern Thai cuisine, the variety of menu selections, and reasonable prices.
During our recent visit to Bangkok, we made reservation for dinner at Gedhawa. The menu appeared similar to those in our previous visits. We ordered 5 dishes and one dessert. The variation of tastes from each dish whets one’s appetite. We enjoyed all of them.
Service was attentive. Staff standing in the far corner was observant of diners requiring service.
After our dinner, we chatted with the friendly owner who remembered us from our previous patronage. We thanked her for the good meal and looked forward to our next visit.

All of foods are so amazing especially Tom yum goong, Tom kha Kai,
Pla nueng manao and crab fried rice are superb!!!! A must-try. The complex layering of flavors represents Thai cuisine at its best. Best enjoyed hot and fresh!!! And also good service ,

Nicely decorated Thai restaurant with menu covering various foods from all over the country. Taste is good, rather mild, not really spicy, good for those who can’t manage chili in their dishes. Portions are rather small, think of tapas serving size. Drinks could be less sweet. Prices are ok. There is service charge on top of the bill.

I really want to visit here so reserved the table via Facebook firstly.
At that day, I saw lots of Japanese customers seems due to near Thonglor. We chose four dishes and all are so good. But, the most impressive is the chicken wing with minced pork and glass noodles. That was amazing also the MVP for this trip in Thailand! So, if you visit here please give it a try!

We love the food and the people here! Delicious food, polite and friendly service drove us here for 2 consecutive days (lunch on 1st day, dinner on 2nd day) although have to walk for some distance from BTS Station, worthy! ☺️ We had Pomelo Salad twice, Green Curry, Tomyam Soup, Grilled Pork, Soup Curry Noodles, Fried Noodles with Shrimps. Definitely will go back during next visit to BKK

We’ve back to Gedhawa again after 3 years! So happy that the quality of food still remained the same although slightly increased price. Luckily we were there early else have to miss out the food without reservation. Oh no, so miss the food now again!
